“Our experience at El Cardenal was a good one. Food was good and the personel was attentive and corteous, however a couple of things can be better. I am a food enthusiast and hobbist chef, and I could recognize that the cheese used on the enchiladas was very cheap cheese, with a very artificial flavor. I can bet it was imitation cheese. Cheese is something that can be used of better quality without really hurting overall cost, but using cheap cheese is very notable. Also restaurant cleanliness was good but we could notice a strong damp mop odor as soon as we crossed the door. That's an easy fix with clean water and an mild mopping soap every hour. Use of old, dirty water to mop the floor should not be acceptable because you wonder if they also use dirty and bad odor water to clean tables. Apart from those minor details, the experience was acceptable and we will be returning.”

“So, at first, while the new people were getting trained for the 24/7, there were a lot of issues, but it is leveling out and getting much better now. Overall, the atmosphere is pretty good, but the management and staff are working hard to become even better. I would recommend this Subway now. Super Burger is a small restaurant connected to a Texaco gas station, so I wasn’t sure what to expect at first.I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with onion rings while my wife ordered a regular cheeseburger with boudin egg rolls. They did not have fries when I went but the sides we did have were great. Onion rings breaded nicely, perfect size onions as well so as to have a nice blend of batter and onion. My wife really enjoyed the boudin egg rolls and says she’d definitely have it again.The cheeseburgers were not large, I’d say about 1/3rd of a pound, but they were nice and flavorful. Seasoned well, very juicy, the bacon was done well. Honestly there’s nothing to complain about in my opinion.I think that where this restaurant really shines is in its spooky sauce. The spooky sauce is a spicy special sauce that honestly was very enjoyable. I used it to dip my onion rings but I could see it going great with fries or even in a chicken sandwich. They also had a special burger sauce but that was kind of your standard burger sauce. Pretty good overall.I’d recommend this restaurant for someone who’s wanting a simple classic burger and fries or onion rings. They have other burger options such as a chili cheese burger, but I kind of enjoy just a basic bacon cheeseburger.”

Available try the BEAST (combination of Sliced Brisket & Homemade Sausage) on a warm bun with jalapenos & red onions. Damn Good Sammich. Side of Banana Pudding too separately.”

The price of the daiquiris and Jell-O shots are a steal! I mixed 2 flavors together and the taste was better than any daiquiri I’ve had. I can tell it’s well infused with the alcohol. “We looked for a dog friendly restaurant and found Santos Seafood. If you love catfish or shrimp… this place is for you! We found the outdoor seating area a bit worn, but was comfortable and we very much appreciated the shade provided by a roof instead of an umbrella. Ceiling fans would be nice to provide a gentle breeze or to keep pests away. Our server was so very nice and friendly. She brought water out for our dog and provided very good service. The food was amazingly good. We’ve not had catfish this good in a very long time. Having left Florida’s coast only two days ago we were surprised to find better fried shrimp, but we did! This is a must-visit restaurant.”
