“For the past couple of years Swamp Donkey’s has been my go to spot during crawfish season. I may be obsessed with the garlic spicy as I go at least once a week during season. Staff is always friendly and the food is always great.
To make it better I just won a trip! Last Monday when I got my crawfish fix the server told me the drawing was going to be Friday. I didn’t think I’d win. I actually ignored the phone call before they sent me a text asking about my favorite crawfish spot. I absolutely love this place! Can’t wait for next year.“

“We went for lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty but the food was delisious. The Chicken Alfredo Pasta was really good. The chicken was tender and tasty, and the sauce was creamy. The Spaghetti with meatsauce was good. The garlic bread was soft and garlicky.
The service was excellent.“

“I ate in here last week, at lunch, and the food was so fresh and so good. The Chicken Chow Mein was EXCELLENT, best I've had in 40 years, and I've been trying to find some to compare to what I used to get at this little restaurant in Laurenburg, NC in the mid 80s. The fried rice was great. The Orange chicken was really good. The service was by far the best I've had in Kingwood in many many years. The portions are good and prices are very fair. I am still craving the Chicken Chow Mein, so I just ordered some food for pickup. Will update with a pick up order review. I will definitely be back for lunch.“

“I must say I’ve been to a few seafood restaurants but this angry crab shack tops them all . The service was outstanding and the waiter that served us was the best . The seafood boil was so good we ordered a bag to stay and one to take home , all I can say is if you’re in the area do yourself so justice and check out angry crab shack …“

“We have been here so many times and absolutely love the food and the service is usually good. However, when we went tonight and got the all you can eat crab and shrimp the service was terrible. We weren’t checked on once by the staff and we had ordered two more bowls and only received one and the staff just sat and stared at us the whole time we ate. We felt very rushed and uncomfortable.“

“We ordered couple pounds of crawfish with mild seasonings and the gumbo. Crawfish had plenty of flavor and was steaming hot when it was brought to our table. The gumbo was ok, lots of sausage. Very nice to be able to bring our own beer. We got fountain drinks also which were refilled in a timely manner. I'd say it's worth going back to since the pricing is reasonable.“

“I went to celebrate my birthday and the waiter Jesus Flores was an outstanding waiter, very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and suggestions. He was friendly and had an outgoing personality, I have been waited by other waiters at this location that were much slower (on a slow day) and took an act of Congress to wait or bring you anything. If you go ask for Jesus Flores (the other Jesus is not as friendly)“

“Just had lunch with my neighbor Jorge and as usual was NOT disappointed! Chris was her usual friendly self. She’s always on the ball about pleasing people and sending them home happy and full. Rose was the waitress everyone dreams of. Patient and funny all in the same breath. If you haven’t been to LaVilla I highly recommend a visit. You will want to return again and again! I’d be there more often but I have no self control. 🤣“

“Mariscos El Malcon was a nice addition to the Food Zone. Daughter wanted crawfish, but they were out. She decided to go with the seafood boil. We were the only customers and there was a little wait as they had to cook everything. Will be back to try other options“

“Cute little modern walk-in restaurant. Food was delicious. You can choose your level of spice…fair warning even mild has a little kick for the pad thai. Drinks were served in a bottle with a cup of ice. Overall we really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back!“

“My wife and l come to this kingwood location about once a week, Brandon and Jordan are always great. The food is always great up until about a month or so ago. The Angel hair pasta in alfredo sauce tastes different, kinda soggy, it doesn’t taste the same l don’t know what changed but l wish they would go back to the previous one.“
