“Mariscos El Malcon was a nice addition to the Food Zone. Daughter wanted crawfish, but they were out. She decided to go with the seafood boil. We were the only customers and there was a little wait as they had to cook everything. Will be back to try other options“

“Not a Michoacana. Definitely a hidden gem. I honestly did not expect much but man was I proved wrong. The fried rice was excellent, my precursor for delicious food. Everything was made fresh, down to the lemons served for our fried fish. Please keep this place the same (owners).“

Best mexican food and seafood I have ever tasted around town, pretty much, really !!! They season everything great. Even the other evening I went there with my sister for dinner; and I loved the way they seasoned the broccoli so much, that I ordered another side of broccoli ! We really enjoyed ourselves.
Lesly and Alison, the waitresses, are very attentive and fun. Pas, the Owner, is a sweetheart, and one of the great cooks there! Lesly and Alison always make me feel at home.
If you feel chilly, or warm, just ask them, and they will adjust the thermostat, to make sure they're customers feel comfortable. Me and Lesly and Alison were practicing salsa and cumbia dance steps. They put on great music for the customers, at request.
I even go there for breakfast, any time of day, and they make what you want for breakfast, like if you wake up late, and the coffee is great! Everything is delicious. Complimentary chips and salsa come with your meal, with free refills on chips and salsa. The pricing is not expensive, definately affordable.
They will be having karaoke and drinks as soon as they can! (Mararitas, etc.!) -- I'm really looking forward to that too. We need more people to come for the evenings, and that will be a great place for everything, and then they can stay open until after 8:00 p.m.! People need to know they're there, and know all about this stuff, so spread the word! They might even have live band at times too.
They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The place is kept very clean.

“My wife and l come to this kingwood location about once a week, Brandon and Jordan are always great. The food is always great up until about a month or so ago. The Angel hair pasta in alfredo sauce tastes different, kinda soggy, it doesn’t taste the same l don’t know what changed but l wish they would go back to the previous one.“

“We have been here so many times and absolutely love the food and the service is usually good. However, when we went tonight and got the all you can eat crab and shrimp the service was terrible. We weren’t checked on once by the staff and we had ordered two more bowls and only received one and the staff just sat and stared at us the whole time we ate. We felt very rushed and uncomfortable.“

“My favorite seafood in the area! My husband is so picky about catfish and usually only eats it fresh-caught, but he will eat here. So so good!!! Amazing red beans and rice too! And the customer service has always been great as well!! 🤍“
