The sausage and brisket was good (although the brisket was not well seasoned). The chicken and ribs were overcooked. Extremely dry. The Mac and cheese was ok. Needed a bit more of cheese and butter. Peach cobbler was ok as well. The potatoe salad, beans and yams were good. We will stick to Ray’s.
I first found out about Big 6 BBQ while attending the TriStar show at NRG. They were the closest food option there (Chick-Fil-A was closed already ?) after walking around for hours. The staff there were friendly and quick! I had gotten the BBQ nachos (don’t remember what it was called exactly), and let me say that it was THE TRUTH ??After looking them up online, it said they had a location close to home! Paid too much money for the Mac and cheese to be bland, the brisket was all fatty. They offered a discount because they were out of majority everything didn't feel like a discount.
