Horrible never will i return, the sweet potatoes always out, my brisket always got hella fat and its unseasoned and mac and cheese tasted like it was from a box no flavor just bland noodles n cheese dont even get me started on the fake bbq beans. Only thing I almost enjoyed was the ribs. To top it off I waited 30mins or so just to have cold food. Spent $100 well almost did till i was offered a 10% discount that suddenly turned into a 20% discount and when i got home i realized why they were so generous. If you want real bbq good bbq go elsewhere they are overpriced ???? woudnt even feed this to my dogs.

Paid too much money for the Mac and cheese to be bland, the brisket was all fatty. They offered a discount because they were out of majority everything didn't feel like a discount.

I will never go here again, I was craving some good ass bbq and sweet potatoes, for one they always out of sweet potatoes its annoying yall should have overstock if its popular and second i paid $100 for 4lbs a meat and 2 sides ..and now i see why the man was so willing to offer a 10% and then shortly after 20% I get my plate its smelling good or whateva, get home then boom disappointment the only good thing was the ribs and that barely passed there was nothing but fat on the brisket barely had actual meat and it was also dry asf all the meat the sausage was ok idk i was expecting alot more then the mac and cheese taste like boxed mac n cheese and the beans tasted like a bunch of bullshit bring the old cook back please or the lady that be there cause today was heartbreaking and a waste of my $80 and tip . I wish i had a picture but i have all boys at my house and they eat like a pack of wolves plus i live 30mins from here. I know yall can do better and yall know yall wrong for them prices with this type of quality SMH

The worst bbq sandwich I have ever had. The bun was dry and damn near choked you and most of the brisket was just fat, sausage was good but other then that a giant waste of $$$..... for the price you pay you might as well go on down the road and get a decent meal elsewhere.

The sausage and brisket was good (although the brisket was not well seasoned). The chicken and ribs were overcooked. Extremely dry. The Mac and cheese was ok. Needed a bit more of cheese and butter. Peach cobbler was ok as well. The potatoe salad, beans and yams were good. We will stick to Ray’s.

I got a lot of food. I definitely loved the double potato salad ?. My brother fell in love it was his first time getting food, so it was definitely a win for me picking the spot.

Worst BBQ place in town. $18 for a plate and it was stale and old. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Let me start by saying that I don't ever mind paying decent money for great bbq, but there isn't much worse than paying $32 for a two meat plate w/ 2 sides, desert and can of soda. I don't like to leave a negative review but I feel like this time I needed to. This is my first ever negative review. The brisket was tender and good until the big piece was an end cut that was too dry to eat, the beef sausage was an up charge of $3 that I didn't even realize until I got my receipt, the Mac n cheese was below average with some garlic spices on it. The smoked beans tasted like they were canned and generally should have some chopped meat of some kind. Also, did not come with any sort of sliced bread. It is hard to make a cobbler before average but I was very disappointed. Unfortunately I had high hopes but will not be back. There are a lot of bbq options that are much better for a better price. My apologies for the poor review but for $30+ I expected better quality.

Didn't have much Interaction with anyone besides when I order my food that was cool. Wanted to try something different, but unfortunately I don't think I will be going back. The rib tips were one of the two good things everything else a waste of my 24 dollars. The ribs were smoked but dry, the mac and cheese were noodles and seasoning I tasted not one thing of cheese didn't see any cheese. The smoked beans were my other favorite thing. If I had to choose one. But your visit may be different from mines. Not worth me wanting to try for a different experience.

I first found out about Big 6 BBQ while attending the TriStar show at NRG. They were the closest food option there (Chick-Fil-A was closed already ?) after walking around for hours. The staff there were friendly and quick! I had gotten the BBQ nachos (don’t remember what it was called exactly), and let me say that it was THE TRUTH ??After looking them up online, it said they had a location close to home! So I made it a goal to check them out one day going home from work. Today was that day. I tried their BBQ Brisket Burger today… and they DID NOT MISS ? And also, the gentleman (I believe he’s the owner) who helped me was very welcoming!I am not sure why this establishment isn’t more talked about! They should be on the same level as Turkey Leg Hut! I know its 2 different things, but still. As a matter of fact, I’d eat here before I eat at TLH (nothing against them). We need all the Houston foodie bloggers to check this place out and help get them noticed. My new favorite BBQ spot. I will definitely be back! ?
