“Best brisket I have ever had in my life.“

“This restaurant's food is very acceptable. I had the grilled meat plate and it was freshly made and well-grilled. I did not feel the taste of Turkish food, sumac and Turkish spices taste were missing. I guess they want to please a certain crowd, the casserole, steak and potato eater. However, the meat was good, tender and well grilled. I had the plate of appetizer and they were all good. The only down side is the price. My bill was $62.00. I only had a tea with my lunch. Had I ha al kebab and a drink, my bill would have been at least $35.00 which is really expensive for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. I was in Dubai recently and found the food to be as expensive as here, but everything they serve you is the highest quality and so good you could die the next day happy! Which is not the case here.“

“Local family owned small business in strip center off Spring Steubner/Rossville that I've come to love. Haven't tried the ribs or sausage yet, as the lean brisket and turkey are my family's go-tos. But... THE SIDES... best collard greens in area, fried okra, candied yams, baked beans, and pineapple pudding all on point. A 2 meat plate comes with 2 individual sides... we add a small side and 2 desserts and it easily feeds wife and I. Yum. Great job Teague family.“

“We have been eyeing this place since the beginning of the year & finally made it by today! First of all, our server Emmanuel was awesome. Super sweet, friendly, tentative, & well mannered. Which is rare these days! The food was so good & huge portions. We started off with the Land Biscuits & it was so good, the goat cheese put it above & beyond! My hubby got the Hamdogger & couldn't even finish half. It was massive! I got the All Hands on Deck with Brussel sprouts & baked potato. Sooo yummy! The fried catfish was perfect! They serve breakfast & brunch as well. We are excited to come back & try all they have to offer. The decor is pretty cool, I love the tables & chairs and some of the antiques! Def go check it out!“

Have told him the approx. # of PAX and, date and time and asked him to select a few non gravy BBQ items as under, for around 20-25 people. AM sure it will meet or exceed my expectations, myself coming from a 40 + year of culinary background.
