“THE BEST BBQ in Tomball; If you are wanting real old style bbq than Old Tomball BBQ is for you. They are family operated and owned. They make their own sauce. Country music plays throughout the restaurant. They have a covered patio for outside seating. The restrooms are clean. Every item on the menu is delicious. My family has been eating here since 1994. Stop in and try it for yourself. You will love it.“
“Holy baked potatoe?; if you are a potatoe lover like me, then you will love the one they make here. It is probably the most massive potatoes I have ever seen. Not only huge but so perfectly cooked, just smooth and creamy all the way through and then topped with cheese and brisket. ?Heaven. And the BBQ sauce, is crack, what do you put in there!!!???!!? The one thing I do suggest is making sure you come to eat during the earlier hours because I've tried the meat dishes at two different times, and it improved drastically when I came at 1pm vs 6pm. The food was waaay more saltier and the meat a bit drier in the evening. So get there early for the good stuff. The tender juicy stuff. Overall, Im glad I decided to give the place another shot because it's a pretty convient spot to come grab some good food. Just come try it out and see for yourself. It's BBQ, it will be worth it.“
“I just left there, all I can say is, they’re back!!!!! I had a shrimp taco, the sauce was amazing. Side of red beans, and rice, perfectly seasoned. Six wings, and french fries, the Cajun candy flavor is very good, the heat sneaks up on you! I also tried the shrimp étouffée, well seasoned also. As always, friendly service, great staff, and great food!! Sorry, no photos due to being Hangry…..??“
“I highly recommend this restaurant. We contracted The Original Rib Tickler to Cater my daughters wedding on March 10th and we were so grateful that we did. The owner, Catherine was amazing to work with from the initial emails, and then our first meeting with her that included an amazing tasting. I think we literally had tried everything they make. We chose 3 meats and 3 sides, rolls & all the condiments for the wedding. The Paulo Potatoes, OMG, delicious. Everything was so good and we were blessed to have Catherine herself working with her team at our venue. 2 weeks later and I am still getting comments about how good the food was. I would absolutely hire them again and they now have a life long customer to their restaurant as well. Thank you so much to Catherine and her Team. You made it so easy!!!.“
“I absolutely love the turkey and lean brisket here when available, and the sides, including carrot soufflé, will knock your socks off. If we’re really craving Tejas, we usually aim for late lunchtime on weekdays and pick over what is left for meats because you absolutely cannot go wrong. And we always grab a monster-sized bonbon on our way out. This is a well-known gem for all of Houston, so there are definitely lines early, but on weekdays, minus Friday, they’ve never been completely sold out late-lunchtime when we’ve gone. Don’t try to order online, for delivery, it never works out with how busy the business is.“
