“I’ll start by saying—I’m not a barbecue person. But Tejas BBQ in Tomball still has my full support, and here’s why. Their potato salad is amazing—seriously one of the best I’ve had. It’s the kind of place you can walk into even if BBQ isn’t your thing and still find something you love (or just grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere). What really sets Tejas apart, though, is the people behind it. The owners are incredibly friendly and genuinely care about Tomball—its history, its businesses, and where it’s headed. That kind of investment in the community matters. Places like this are what make Tomball special, and I’ll always support them—even if it’s just stopping in for a drink.”

“I've been to this place weekly since finding out about it. It is the most authentic spot around. I'm a fan of Nundini, but this place is tops for me. The pasta is fresh, the prepared Italian/Tuscan dishes are delicious and the overall fare spanning sicily, italy etc are worth every dime! Customer service is the best in the city and hands down the best porchetta sandwich i've ever had. We highly recommend them!!!”

The red snapper and tuna tostadas were incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the calamari was perfectly cooked — crisp, tender, and not at all greasy. The margarita was an unexpected highlight as well — perfectly balanced and refreshing, far better than we anticipated and truly memorable. Everything we ordered was excellent, and the overall quality of the food made the experience exceptional. “On July 12 my grandmother and I went to lunch at Top Sushi when a huge storm came in. The manager who has always been so friendly, welcoming, and kind was there and went to every table offering to walk each customer to their car with his personal umbrella. While I went to grab the car he stayed with my grandmother, held her things, and made sure she got in the car dry while he got hit by the rain. He also showed such concern to me making sure I wasn’t driving far and told me we were more than welcome to stay at the restaurant until the storm is over. I was so moved by his gracious acts and being a genuinely great person. You don’t see that anymore and I am so appreciative of him. I did not get his name but I want him to know how much that moved my grandmother and I. Thank you!!”

“Was in the Tomball area the other day running errands, needed some lunch and stopped by 403 Eats located on Main St. to check out what they had. First walking up, the atmosphere here is very inviting and makes you want to just pull up a chair to hang out; like being in a friend’s backyard. I ordered The Woods Burger w/ fries from The Woods food truck. The 2 beef patties were cooked perfectly and the bacon jam adds that extra flavor you wouldn’t expect. Add in the steak sauce aoili and the Colby jack cheese, my new favorite burger. The staff here is so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu they offer. They even told me about the live events they host and what was upcoming. Definitely bringing the family back for a day and evening of great food and fun. I felt I could spend all day there enjoying the beautiful weather. I think I found my new spot for great food, amazing people, and just all around fun and a good time!”

We came on Friday night, watched the FIFA game and really enjoyed the night. Delicious food, tasty beverages, craft cocktails and excellent service. We had the meatballs, shrimp croquettes and a charcuterie board. We were all really impressed and will be back. Just a side note - we would like to see a beef filet plate - either skewers, tapas of some sort or hand held. Try this place, you’ll love it!”

As a creature of habit, I most often have a pastry and black coffee so nothing too exotic but it is delicious every time and every now and then, like today, I earn a free one through their rewards program. Fresh made bread is also delicious as a take home item. Nice quiet areas to work along with open areas for socializing so it has something for all visitors, including a covered outdoor seating area. Plenty of seating that is so often scarce in other coffee shops. The live houseplants bring the outside feeling indoors.”

“Los Tres Ranchitos has been one of my favorite local Mexican restaurants for years, and it’s consistently good every time we visit. The warm salsa is one of my favorites anywhere, especially with all the fresh onions mixed in, and the queso is a must-order. I almost always get the cheese enchiladas, and they never disappoint. The service is always outstanding too. Our drinks are constantly being refilled, and everyone is so friendly and attentive. They also have plenty of seating if you’re coming with a larger group, which makes it a great spot for family dinners or celebrations.”

“After hurricane Beryl hit Tomball on Monday we were left with no power. We drove around looking for somewhere to eat that was not fast food with lines down the street. We stopped in at 403 eats to find mega meltz open and whipping it up in the kitchen. The gentleman who took our order jumped in and helped while the only worker cooked and cooked. He probably fed 75 hungry people while we were there. Awesome place for staying open to feed the people of Tomball when I’m sure he would have much rather been home with his family.

“I've tried many Pho places around the North Side of Houston. I found this place with a friend recommendation. Wow, their Bun Bo Hue is by far the best I have ever had. When I mentioned that I visit often and that my job orders from Smalls sometimes, she told me about the catering options and encouraged me to reach out for future orders. She wasn't pushy at all, just knowledgeable and genuinely helpful.

Heidy, at the drive-thru window, was as nice as they come. As soon as she scanned my app, she looked at her screen and, with a big smile, looked back at me and said, “Happy Birthday!”

I honestly can’t remember a time when someone scanned my app, noticed that detail, and actually acknowledged it. It was such a small gesture, but it really stood out.

Your employees worked together, Your Food was excellent, your staff was attentive, your restrooms were clean, your kitchen CLEAN.. your tables CLEANED as they should be. Your hostess was communicating with BUSER on what tables needed to be cleaned. It can be done.. and it showed tonight. I could not be more impressed. Jeffrey was checking on everyone.. even working side by side with his crew. It was TEAMWORK at its finest. If you tried the CHILIS in Tomball.. and had a just okay .. or a bad experience.. I encourage you to try again. The management matters. They have a manager that works with his TEAM.. not BOSS them. It shows.. way to go Chilis.. and most of all way to go Jeffrey.”

“The food was excellent! The meatloaf was a little spicy for me, but all the food was made there - no canned veggies. Hubby had the jerked chicken and it was delicious! It took a long time to get our food, and the waitress was not as attentive as she should gave been. After talking to the manager (she was an absolute gem!) we agreed the waitress needed a little more training, and her best people weren't on duty that night. We worked in fast food for decades, so we get it. We will be back!”
