“Mega Meltz has the best Boudian balls! Also my husband tried the Tasso grilled cheese (scrumptious) and the owner offered to make our daughter a custom Mac'n'Cheese... we will be back!Great place to stop in Tomball (the bar has wine and beer). This truck in particular is our favorite!Kid-friendliness: Small plates, ala carte, a grassy play area, friendly atmosphere.“
“I just left there, all I can say is, they’re back!!!!! I had a shrimp taco, the sauce was amazing. Side of red beans, and rice, perfectly seasoned. Six wings, and french fries, the Cajun candy flavor is very good, the heat sneaks up on you! I also tried the shrimp étouffée, well seasoned also. As always, friendly service, great staff, and great food!! Sorry, no photos due to being Hangry…..??“
“Excellent food! My family love the potato wedges and the burgers are truly grilled as a steak and taste like one (not a frozen patty). My son and I enjoy the Tv's for the sports. You can bring your dog too when eating outside. The owner and his staff are always greeting you and checking on you, but not annoyingly.“
“4 star and it would’ve been 5, but customer service isn’t the friendliest! So I was taking classes at Champions and was recommended here! But several of the ladies came back saying how there experience wasn’t good with customer service. I placed my order online and I didn’t have great CS either. It was bland! I guess I excepted high energy because the environment is so sporty & fun & inviting.But….Let me say this: I’m a 5 guys burger girl! WALK ON HAS A 10 STAR ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ burger! ? WOWZER!!!! Let me tell you about this burger & those cheese sticks! OMG! We need one out here in the Cypress area definitely! I’d go every other day!I liked the loaded potatoes ? BUT they were salty I could fill my blood pressure going to 1000! & the portion size wasn’t it either!Fries are kinda bland, chick ? fila style which I don’t care for.But those burgers, those cheese stick, WOWZER ?.“
“The crawfish 10/10 came out smoking hot & juicy. We added sausage which had a good flavor along with mushrooms. We also had potatoes but they were undercooked so we couldn’t eat them but overall it was good and we’ll be back. We also had a margarita that came from the blue shack in the middle of the food truck park it was 8 out of 10.Kid-friendliness: Park area“
“Hadn't visited the location in over 4 years, but I always like coming here drinks and food good and great service when my date asked for a special margarita not on the menu, definitely wanna sit on the patio by the fountains next time“
“Man, let me tell you these juicy wings. Finger licking, tongue smacking deliciousness. I forgot to take the picture of the wings. I dived right in. Then I also had this cute little delicious peach lemondrop.Parking: Right out front of the building.“
“Pappasito’s has been one of my favorite restaurants in Houston for many years. We have not been to Pappasito's in a while due to their ever increasing prices, but we tried it one more time on last Thursday. It was around 3:00pm. Not many people. The "Hostess" did not want to seat me. I looked around the empty restaurant and asked why she would not seat me and told me the wait would be 20 minutes. I called the manager. And he gave me an excuse that they were short in personnel and I have to wait, instead of seating us and committing to provide a good positive experience regardless as they have always done it. My positive experience has not been the same and they keep raising their prices to a point that it’s ridiculous high. Lunch for three people, a beef quesadilla, two tacos, a small tortilla soup, water and two drinks $40 per person? Something in their management has changed.“
“This picture speaks for itself. Been coming to this location for over ten years specifically for crawfish. The chef cooks these bad boys to perfection. Claw and tail meat slid right out of the crawfish and they're huge. Do not pass this up. The crawfish and flavor get better every year. We ask for extra extra garlic and their spiciest sauce so the crawfish look brown but it's been tossed in a VERY spicy rub that's taken out my hearing a few times. In a decade, we've never had bad service and for a while we were coming to eat here 3-4 times a week. I've never had a single thing to complain about at this location. Sometimes is very densely populated and there can be a wait, but the staff accommodates parties well, and is cohesive. Every time I go there's new employees and even then I've never had any issues.“
“We drove by this place a couple of days ago and we thought it was a BOBA PLACE! The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the manager{Iris} was absolutely amazing to us and was honestly impressed by how well she treated us. And most importantly, the atmosphere was fantastic. The place was really decorated for Mardi Gras. And the gator was one of my favorite decorations about the place. We will definitely come back to Bubba T’s Kitchen again.“
“My husband & I have been going here for yrs as it’s one of our favorites. The Catfish Mardi Gras is out of this world! Other favorites are crawfish boil, shrimp, crab, crab cakes are packed w crab, Cajun bread pudding to die for, breakfast until 2 is also fantastic. It’s a crazy busy place & servers try to keep up as best as possible so give em a little break and patience. We have our favorites like Robbie the mgr, Ruth server. Their jobs are tough and they have turnover due to the pace being fast and hard but trust me the wait is worth it. I hold my husband I wish they’d take out all the tables during crawfish season & put in picnic tables end to end and shared space on them. I think it would make for a fun way to dine within our community and people would visit more. And put chairs n tables on sidewalks and expand patio. He’ll, expand the entire restaurant please! But most of ALL I SO wish they could handle doing Uber Eats!! Oh and best and I mean best authentic Dirty rice and PoBoy bread is also deliciously authentic!Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and families presentWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to pull up a wheelchair“
“I’ve tried many of the food items that LaBoucherie offers and my absolute favorite is the fajita meat. A close second choice is the cornbread Stuffed Chicken. A walk around the retail meat section is a cook’s dream! If you enjoy entertaining friends and family, then this is the place you need to visit. The friendly customer service is a plus! I was overwhelmed with the many choices and all of my questions were answered as well as suggestions on preparing the meats. Being a longtime South Louisiana resident, I feel like I am tasting authentic Cajun food when I cook and serve LaBoucherie food to my guests!“
“Hubby & I went today around 1pm. Place was decently busy and had a great atmosphere. We ordered crawfish; which were FANTASTIC! My only complaint would be the service. Our ticket said the servers name was Amanda. Right from the get go she seemed unhappy to be there. We told her how many pounds we’d like and she started to walk off. I stopped her and asked if she’d please add corn/potatoes/butter/spice to the order in which she replied “it comes with it” and continued walking off. About halfway through she came to ask if we needed anything - Hubs ordered another beverage and we told her we’d finish our crawfish to see if we wanted some additional lbs. She stopped by again after we’d finished and we told her we didn’t need anything else “at the moment”. Next thing she stops by with the check and we never see her again (despite hanging out for another 20 minutes so we could finish our drinks). We considered ordering wings after a while but seeing as she never came by again we decided it wasn’t worth it. I’ll come back to Tailgators to get their crawfish but if I’m seated with her again I’ll absolutely be asking to move to a different section.“
“Would definitely go back!! Lunch today with my daughter and we were both pleased with food and service! Only wish we had taken advantage of the outdoor seating, as it was a beautiful day!We tried the rockfish sampler. Volcano shrimp, jalapeño fritters and spinach artichoke dip. Everything was great!I ordered the redfish étouffée at the recommendation of our server. It was fantastic. Edges of the redfish nice and crisp. The shrimp was delicious. Although I have never actually tried grits before today, the jalapeño grits were delicious. Great consistency and complimented the redfish well.My daughter had the surf and turf and cleaned her plate. She said everything was great and she is looking forward to a return visit.Failed to take pics but presentation was on point.“
“If you want good seafood that's fresh and served HOT at a reasonable price, this is where you want to go. You can't beat thir prices or find a better value elsewhere without sacrificing quality. I love the fried swai the most, the fried shrimp being a close second. The fries are super yummy, too, batter-fried to perfection. The food is flavorful, and portions are generously sized. The drive-thru is a bit tricky to navigate, and you will be waiting a few, like 10-15 minutes for your food, but that's because they are making it fresh. It's not fast food, so call in your order to skip the wait. Whichever way, just make sure you go. You'll thank me later.Parking: Limited spots in front of the storefront, but there are plenty nearby adjacent to the building.Wheelchair accessibility: Curb ramp outside, wide main entry isle“
“Ordered my Shrimp Poboy and waffle fries during lunch yesterday and it was waiting for me when I got there. It was enough for lunch and dinner. Great service and location. This is the only Black owned creole kitchen in Cypress so lets show some love! So glad you guys are here.“
“Not sure why this place is not more popular....... the food is really very good. Most people seem to come here for the crawfish, but frankly so many of the other dishes are absolutely amazing. I'm generally not a fan of Pho, but theirs was amazing. The brisket fried rice easily one of the best friend rices I've ever had....... in general all the food we ordered was really very good! The only thing that put me off was the attitude of the waitress who not only behaved like it was a bit of a hassle attending to us - and the very few tables that were occupied - but she literally behaved like she was an owner of the restaurant. At one point I in fact even asked her casually if she was an owner of the restaurant (she wasn't!). Bottomline - this restaurant would do a LOT better if it was in a better location and had more better staff. Many other restaurants have come and gone in this location. As the old adage goes, in the restaurant business, it's all about location, location, location!“
“I grew up in Lafayette and New Orleans Louisiana. So I am a huge fan of Cajun food in the Cajun way. While the food at this restaurant was good, it’s equivalent to someone from Mexico coming to Texas and trying Taco Bell and being asked, “well does it taste like authentic Mexican food?”. No of course it doesn’t.But it’s still good. We still love it.The food here is more like cafeteria style Cajun food if that makes any sense. It doesn’t have the same richness and texture and robustness that authentic Cajun food has.But then again so few places in Houston ever do. If you like seafood, and Poboys, I would definitely recommend this place. They have a two for $25 meal deal which in today’s economic times is very affordable. This is a perfect little ledge spot or just picking up something on the way home from work Kind of place. I would suggest it for date night or taking the boss out or anything like that. But if you just want something that feels good warms you up and taste delicious you can’t beat the price at the Bayou Cajun Café.Parking: There’s ample parking we had no problem finding a spot that was close to the building and well maintained.“
“Been watching this place for months.I wish I had gone sooner.Had the crab patties.Tender delicious crispy.Fish tacos with red fish.Delicious with red cabbage red beans and rice.Much puppies drowed in rice gravey. My next visit will be that seafood burrito and crayfish etoufee.“
“The food is Amazing! I love the Chicken Lafayette… so good. They are a very friendly staff. The atmosphere is fun, and they do have a staff member that comes and cleans, but I feel things are old and a dirty you can’t clean, and really could just use an update.. Like sticky tables from use and broken benches. But the food is on point.“
“Visited 3/12/24 just after 3pm. It was my first time visiting this location and dining in. Sat at the bar & ordered the Tuesday special...5lbs of crawfish for $39.99 and finished it off with the butter Rum cake. Everything was great and I feel like a champ. I'll definitely be back.“
“The food at catfish station is delicious. The fried catfish is NOT highly seasoned (spicy). The crust is not thick. the hush puppies are slightly sweet with corn kernels (perfect), and the cheese grits are cooked wonderfully. This is the best fried catfish restaurant we have found in the Cypress area. All the service attendants have been friendly and courteous.“
“Embarking on my "ONLY FIRSTS IN 2024" journey I found myself at Bleu Oyster Bar and Seafood, a spot that had caught my eye back in 2018 upon moving to Texas yet had never visited. So it took almost six years for me to finally step inside. Upon entry, the cozy interior defied the grand exterior, creating an unexpectedly intimate ambiance that surpassed my expectations. Despite its seemingly fancy exterior, the inside felt warmly homely. Our party of 11 received a prompt and welcoming reception, even without a reservation. Grant, our exceptional server, elevated the dining experience with professionalism, attentiveness, and a genuine smile. He seamlessly anticipated our needs, offering valuable menu insights and accommodating all our requests. Grant's efficiency and personable approach contributed to a flawless dining experience, striking the perfect balance between presence and allowing us to savor our meal.Though one in our group wasn't a fan of the hamburger (an adventurous choice at a seafood restaurant), the diverse menu pleased the majority. Personally, I opted for Devils on Horseback, dirty rice, fried pickles, and onion rings—perhaps unconventional for a seafood spot, but they proved to be delightful choices. The Fried Pickles, Onion Rings, and Dirty Rice were exceptional, though the jury is still out on the Bleu Sauce accompanying the perfectly cooked Bacon-wrapped Scallops (Devils on Horseback).Would def. return to Bleu, but that will have to be in 2025 as I continue my ONLY FIRSTS in 2024.Come follow me and all my culinary adventures and more at colefamilyvalues on I G, the Tok, and the Tube!“
“The Vietnamese fuze with Cajun for me has been a new great twist that I LOVE! Don't get me wrong, I still love Cajun crawfish, but you owe it to yourself to try this once. Pick how spicy you want them and then pick a flavor. We love the cilantro lime and it has butter added. They come in a bag in a bucket.... Leave the bag in the bucket. Pull them from there and you will love it all the way to the end. They stay hotter longer!“
“We ordered the Sweet Chilli wings and fries along with 2 pieces of fish and a side of red beans and rice. EVERYTHING was delicious and piping hot! All of the food was cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly. I will never get red beans and rice from anywhere else.It was great service and a nice lil vibe. I can’t wait to come back!“
“I absolutely love this place ! I normally get cajun crawfish 5times spicy my tolerance is very high .. the only thing is that I think they need fountain drinks vs just can cold drinks BUT overall the staff is friendly and clean .Soooo update : The establishment have roaches crawling in the diner area so you know it’s roaches in the kitchen . I can’t eat here anymore it was good while it lasted ✌?“
“I ordered 2 delivery orders here over the weekend and they were amazing. My toddler loves crab legs and the price was affordable. The crab boils were seasoned to perfection, affordable, and included 3 clusters for 1 lb price. I also had a bowl of gumbo and it is the best gumbo I have tasted since moving to Spring 4 years ago. I did not care for the etoufee but I gave a 5 star because the rest of my food was great and it was the same on each order. Please give this hidden gem a chance. ?“
“One of the best seafood boils I've had so far! ? we drove from Conroe to come here. They said they are opening one up there soon, so I'm sure we will be frequenting there when they open. The seasoning was on point! The service was welcoming and very friendly...Kid-friendliness: My 2 year old was all over the place, and they was very accommodating“
“First of all, I was not expecting this place to be that good. It was over the top DELICIOUS!! We were pleasantly surprised! Best Fush n Chips I have ever tasted! Our only complaint was there wasn’t more pieces of fish. The fries were perfect too! We also got the fried okra as an appetizer as well as the Fried gator. Lived them both and especially the spicy dipping sauce. We also got the Parmesan crusted chicken with artichoke hearts and mushrooms. It was very very good. We want to go back very soon. And shout out to our server Houston who was amazing. He was really really on top of everything and kept all the tables he was serving happy. Highly recommend!“
“The food is excellent. It's helpful to have patience and the wait is long. The cashier and ones handing us the food were super nice and courteous. There is no selection for mushrooms suggestion, let me tell you they are delicious! We ordered 5Lbs of crawfish, potatoes, corn, sausage, and mushrooms. We added a pound of shrimp and sodas. It's outside. I have 4 stars for atmosphere because even though it's outside people will smoke no matter where they sit. There should be smoking signs. My daughter and I had to inhale this man's smoke while we were eating. We are outside but his smoke directed at us the entire time.“
