“This was my first time here and I got the combination plate (fish and fries) w/french fries and hush puppies. The food was good. It was made fresh and it was hot. The spicy tartar sauce isn’t all that hot or good but it tasted ok with their fish. The fish and shrimp batter had a decent flavor but it’s nothing that just made say ooo and ahhh over. Or this is the best I’ve ever had. But when you have a taste for some fish and shrimp they are a decent choice. I will come back to try their shrimp and grits though 😜“

I stopped back in since the new owner took the helm, and this neighborhood gem is still a spot worth visiting! We certainly miss Mr. Grant, but meeting the new owner and staff was a pleasure. They were attentive, welcoming, and made us feel right at home.
My guys and I come for the shrimp and strong drinks, and this visit reminded us why we enjoy this place. Catching a ball game on the TVs, then relaxing on the patio with a couple of cigars—that’s our kind of evening!
The owner made sure we were taken care of, and the bathrooms were spotless—something I always appreciate. The atmosphere still has that smooth, laid-back neighborhood feel where you can settle in and enjoy good company.
Whether you’re talking through your next big business deal, watching the game, or unwinding with friends, there’s a comfortable spot waiting inside or out on the patio. If you live nearby, come show this place some love. Bring your crew, order some shrimp, grab a drink, and enjoy this neighborhood gem!
The service wow! Ask for Mr. Grant. Trust me on this one... call ahead and ask for Mr. Grant...for the price this food was awesome. The 25 for 25 shrimp deal...wow. Thank you guys for a wonderful setting and eating out experience! I am including the receipt to show how much food we were able to enjoy for the price. Honestly I can't remember getting out of a restaurant for under $150 on date nights.“
