“My wife and I, who are regulars at the Woodlands location of Republic Grill, decided to try the Magnolia branch. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about the food quality, but I was pleasantly surprised. My wife ordered the blackened flounder, which was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The creamed corn and jalapeño bacon Mac & Cheese was a delightful accompaniment. I opted for the TRG Chop, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my server, Danielle. I even told my server that I could have eaten the bone! To complement my main course, I chose the mashed potatoes and bacon Mac & Cheese, and they were simply amazing. The flavors complemented each other perfectly. The Magnolia location and atmosphere were both great. We decided that this would be our new go-to Republic Grill spot, no offense to the Woodlands location. Danielle was an exceptional server who made sure we were enjoying our drinks, food, and even went above and beyond by bringing us some tres leches dessert to take home. If you live in the Tomball or Magnolia area, I highly recommend checking out Republic Grill. You won’t be disappointed!”

One of the best things about Deacon Baldy’s is the crowd it attracts. You can tell a lot about a place by its patrons, and here, it’s all super chill, friendly people. I never once felt out of place—everyone seemed approachable and easygoing. Families were enjoying the atmosphere, kids were running around, and the overall vibe was refreshingly relaxed.

“True Texas BBQ was one of the best BBQs I’ve had. We ordered brisket chili and a brisket baked potato and both were so scrumptious. All BBQ is not the same! Even the signage was really cool at the restaurant and the chairs were actually comfortable :) I’m big on nice seating! Ordering was genuinely pleasant with a Iyairra (Ya) and she was all smiles. Ian came to our table to make sure we were enjoying our visit and told us about the new store opening in Bridgeland - sounds fabulous just like we like it. You’re in for a real treat if you get the chance to visit True Texas BBQ in Magnolia!”

“After my son and his friends kept saying we needed to try this place my husband and I finally did last week and again tonight. This is now one of my favorite restaurants in Magnolia. Food is very good and homemade. Not fast food at all. We have tried the shrimp rolls which are amazing, orange chicken and the spring rolls. Flavor is exceptional and is presented well on the plate. Restaurant is very clean. Aaron and his wife Lei are very nice and attentive. Prices are good too. Glad we have another choice in Magnolia. Will be going again soon. Try it soon!”

“We wanted dinner after being at the Renaissance festival all day and something nearby. I have to say the white queso and chicharron were so good. The kids really enjoyed the pizza, but there is no picture. The chicken fajitas were dry and white meat. I didn't care for the refried beans. I would go back and try something different. I would recommend this place just on the fact that we had a party of ten and I was the only one that didn't care for my meal well myself and the person that shared the fajitas with me lol. Everyone else was completely satisfied with their meals. I will try different beans the next time.”

“I had the tacos tonight and they were fantastic. Just a perfect blend of flavors. Savor your food if you’re eating here. I was hungry so I ate my first bite quickly and just as I was about to take my second bite I tasted a bit of a bite. So I took my next bite more slowly and my taste buds danced with all of the flavors. Perfect.”

I had the spicy boudin and jalapeño cheese kolache.

Boudin was better than most places around here so that's a huge plus. Kolache was good, the bread seemed to be undercooked. But maybe that's because I had them heat it up? The sausage itself was muuuch better than what you would get at a Shirley's.

“Came here because we were looking for tacos and the reviews were great. Service was friendly. Portions really were totally fair. We got 4 beef tacos, 2 chicken tacos, a chicken quesadilla, and 2 birria tacos with a cup of consume for a little over $32. I was full from two tacos. Absolutely delicious. Red sauce and green sauce were great. They provided limes, cilantro, and onions. Flour tortillas did seem homemade. The chicken is shredded and seasoned and the beef was cubed fajita meat. Birria and consume were so good that I literally drank the leftover. Definitely verified why it has a 5 star review average. I can't add pictures because it disappeared too fast. Maybe next time because we'll be back. They've got a couple of small tables with chairs under an outdoor cover if you prefer eating there.”

“We love Wave Sushi! Family friendly but also great for a date night. Reasonable wine selection at a fair price. Sushi rolls are delicious and made to order QUICKLY. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. They have gluten free soy sauce and will make their fried rice with it as well. Everything is good!”

Because this is a taco truck, we had a little trouble finding the right place, but it's a small covered area with the truck in the back. There's a giant sign pointing straight at it, but I didn't know what it was pointing at lolThe ladies running the truck were very friendly. We ordered pastor, fajita, chorizo and campechano tacos. They were great! We liked the al pastor and fajita the best, and the salsa Verde is soooo good. Careful with the red sauce if you don't like spicy, it's also very good but definitely on the hot side.The atmosphere is very laid back, no need to get dressed up. If you live in the area, or you just visiting and need a quick breakfast, I highly recommend this place.”
