best bbq around and wonderful staff!! always a delightful experience
We had food catered by the Meating place and it was awesome. Great price! The brisket was delicious and the BBQ sauce was amazing. The Mac & Cheese was a big hit. The baked beans were the best we have tasted anywhere !!!!! Food arrived on time, will definitely do business here again!!!
We LOVE The Meating Place! We visit as often as we can and always love the food. I had noticed my Frito pie was missing the beans a couple times I ordered to-go. I messaged them on FB just bringing it to their attention, not asking for anything but to make sure the cooks know to add the beans to Frito pies in the future.

The Meating Place BBQ Magnolia is a wonderful restaurant with great food and a nice atmosphere. It serves the best BBQ and the best chopped brisket, with delicious items like the 1904 sandwich and a loaded brisket baked potato. The Baked Potato Buddy Style is also recommended. The fried mushrooms are great, with decent flavor and tender. The staff is pleasant, helpful, kind, and super friendly. The place is excellent for families, with a nice indoor seating area and reasonable, more than reasonably priced food. It is a traditional Texan place with a nice atmosphere, sometimes featuring live country Christian music. It is highly recommended.
