“Very nice restaurant. I was very impressed with the food and wait staff. The atmosphere was wonderful. This was one of the nicer places I've been and it was a joy to take my wife there for our anniversary. I would give it more stars if I could.”
“Stopped today to try their cheeseburger and was absolutely certain that I will be going back againI think I have tried every local place's cheeseburger and this was the best of them all without a doubt. The patty was sizable, the veggies fresh and the bun delicious. Cooked to perfection caused you to savor every bite.”
“Tried snowcrab and the stuffed redfish for the first and was amazed at how good it was! Gabriel was our waiter and he was very helpful and his service was great! Definitely coming back for more!!”
“It is a convenient store, gas station, meat market and Mexican food joint wrapped in one, with a helluva brisket/barbecue truck on weekends! My favorite gas station.”
“I really did enjoy the skinny taco. The food portions are a good size for the money. They use organic coconut oil or extra-virgin olive oil, which are the two best sources for oils to cook with. Their food is more wholesome and natural.”
“I love this store and the family who runs it. They are very knowledgeable (all three generations) about what works if you take the time to chat. It is not perfect; nothing is, but they believe in the power of the body to protect itself if it is treated well. I love that they have a wear a mask if you want policy. They have a wide range of items; they do not have everything, but if you ask, they will do their best to find what works for you. They do a courtesy call to let you know when your shipment has arrived. I love that they work with other locals in stocking and recycling old produce. This kind of shop is what makes America great. It is much bigger than it seems, but it is dated, and that's fine with me. I like dated things; it means there is a history! Go. You won't regret it.”
“Now called Cafe on the Green, this restaurant has outstanding food, no matter what you order. I have had salads, dinner specials, weekend brunch, and special event dinners, like Tapas Night, and have walked away each time fully enjoying the food. You cannot go wrong on anything on the menu at this neighborhood gem!!!”
“Went here for last Sunday for their brunch. The food was amazing! I would suggest making reservations if you want to sit by the windows so you can enjoys the view. There was a live piano player who was very talented.”
“Evan, our server was top of the line! The food was 5 star and the cocktails were fantastic. What a great night out. Well Evan has moved on but service with Jack was just as good. This place is a gem❣️”
“Salsa & Bean dip complimentary and both delicious! Food was very good & not too pricey. Service was excellent, speedy and friendly! 100% recommendation based on our experience”
“I hesitate to leave a review for Cafe on the Green because I don't want more people showing up there. However, this review is long overdue. Cafe on the Green (COG) is a cute little place with inventive menus and very good food. And counter to Denise's review (AGAIN), it couldn't be further from "hoity toity". It has a casual environment with awesome servers and amazing management. Yes, there are seniors that frequent COG but people of all ages enjoy this gem. The menu at COG has tried and true mainstays like the Reuben, tuna and egg salad sandwiches, various delicious fresh salads (which are hard to find in the area), flatbreads, entrees (Chicken Nani is excellent) and one of the best burgers around! In addition to these regular menu items, the chef creates a special menu that changes every week. This menu is inventive and offers dishes that you won't find anywhere else in the area. Some recent favorites include pork picatta, chicken lettuce wraps, chicken fried chicken with chorizo gravy and seared ahi nachos (AMAZING!). In addition, COG offers a reasonably priced brunch with omelette and waffle bar along with a small spread of assorted dishes. For great food at very reasonable prices, you must give COG a try but please don't do it on the first Thursday of the month. If you know, you know! ;-)”
“Excellent food & wine!! And large food portions too. We went in the evening so we got to see all the lights reflecting on the lake. It was beautiful! The service was 5 star. We'll definitely be back soon!”
“Landshark bar and grill is in a lovely location on Lake Conroe. Staff are friendly /helpfull. The food is way over priced ( to tune of $104.19). It's insulting to charge $20 for BBQ and Mushroom Swiss burgers. We expected something on an elevated level. Instead was of ordinary quality. The artichoke spinach dip was terrible, $15. We ended up paying an extra $3 on each entree plate to get fries with our burgers instead of chips. Our Margharitas were good, nothing special though. We could have eaten food of same or better quality for far less at any other restaurant. End synopsis you're paying for the fancy lakeside location. Food is sadly a secondary concern for them.”
“This place was just fantastic. I had the brisket, sausage, and dirty rice. It was good finally eating at a barbecue joint that didn’t leave me in a meat-coma afterwards without sacrificing quality.”
