Recommended to me by another bar owner, called it his own local hole in the wall. Never got to play pool, karaoke night is funny, shotski is always a banger, appetizers are fine, the outside area is chill, inside the bar is kind of dark, throw up in the urinals (so somebody definitely had a good time to miss the toilet stall right next to it) overall good vibes from the patrons and the staff.

If you’re looking for a great bar on Lake Conroe, Shanahan’s is the place and make sure you ask for Jess! She is hands down one of the nicest, most professional, and genuinely best bartenders around. Great personality, great service, and the kind of bartender who makes you want to keep coming back.

Shanahan's is a cool dive bar with reasonable prices and great food, making it a popular spot for locals to hang out and enjoy tasty meals. There is also a new pool table, and the bathrooms have been updated. While the cue sticks and tables could still use some improvement, there is plenty of free parking and open seating available. Shanahan's continues to be a fun place with a welcoming vibe, making it a great destination for anyone looking for a good time.
