“This place is absolutely wonderful. The tacos are the best I've had in the Willis/Conroe area. Haven't tried anything other than the tacos, but I will definitely be trying the whole menu. The food is fresh and always consistent. They have impeccable service and a very friendly staff. The person that gave the 1 star review is obviously a miserable person or hateful competitor. Their claims are absolutely false. I highly recommend giving this place a try!”

“The New Waverly location truly stands out for its exceptional service, delicious and affordable food, and impressively large menu. The restaurant is always spotless, and every visit has been consistently excellent. We’ve been there at least 30 times, and they’ve never missed a beat when it comes to quality or service. The manager and staff work incredibly hard, are genuinely friendly, and make you feel like part of the family. This is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to—I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try!”

“I have always had a great experience. Food has always been very delicious. Today was the first time I wasn't pleased. I ordered liver & onions and the liver was way over-cooked. I brought it home for the dogs. Also I noticed the wait-staff were people I didn't recognize. Am wondering why I didn't recognize any of them.”

“Sam’s Donut Shop is my favorite breakfast stop. The donuts are great and I love their kolaches. You really can’t go wrong with anything there. It’s the kind of place you’re happy to support. Sam’s Liquor is just as solid. It is hands down one of the friendliest spots around. The staff is always welcoming and genuinely kind. I always enjoy stopping by. It has a super convenient drive-through, it’s easy to shop, and they make good recommendations when you need it.. Both spots are consistently reliable with great customer service…which is rare these days. 10 out 10 recommend!”

“These people have brought my childhood back to life. They have some of the best carnitas and barbacoa I have had in a very long time. Flavor full, tender and juicy barbacoa and carnitas. Borrego (lamb)or beef barbacoa are available and both are great. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they have great music. The staff has the best customer service I’ve seen at a restaurant. It really makes me not want to leave lol. They have many other things available like aguas frescas, champurrado and snacks. I’ve tried just about everything they have to offer and have enjoyed it all. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.”

“Edit: After four months, this restaurant continues to deliver. It's our favorite. Order directly on their website for the fastest service. Their regular pizzas are SO good (and we lived in NYC for three years - not NYC pizza but really, really good). Their Fresca pizza is fantastic! So tasty!

Even if I was ordering from another truck I'd go over there to talk to them because they'd still have conversations with you. Awesome experience and awesome food. I had a wonderful experience at MOD Pizza thanks to the incredible staff—especially Joe and Chris. They were extremely helpful and attentive when it came to food allergies, taking the time to explain options, answer questions, and ensure everything was handled safely and thoughtfully.

Beyond their knowledge, they were genuinely kind, patient, and super friendly, which made the entire experience feel welcoming and stress-free. It’s not always easy to dine out with food allergies, but Joe and Chris went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and cared for.

“I have lived in Willis for 17 years. Never been here and last minute decided to give them a try for breakfast. They are small and authentic- I will be back. I loved the green sauce with my breakfast tacos.”

“I always love this place and on February 23rd was on the best because it was my late birthday dinner and I think it’s time to write a review about. The food is amazing, the chicken is the most delicious dish you guys have, it’s like eating my uncle’s homemade fried chicken, the rolls are soft and chewy, the fries were always crispy whenever I get that. The service is amazing because they’re the ones who make the food and their boss and manager should be proud of them. The atmosphere is really classic, like in retro style except for the bathroom, it looks dirty and no paper towels in there.
Your restaurant deserves 5 stars! Amazing job!”

“The food here is beyond wonderful. Even the egg and meat tacos. When you come toward the end of breakfast, are outstanding. The Barbacoa is beyond belief and the Carnitas taste like “more“.The workers are friendly, and the service is quick. The ambience Leaves a lot to be desired but you can’t expect much for a convenience store inside a gas station.If you’re going to buy the tacos, be prepared to sit somewhere and eat them. It is impossible to drive while you’re eating these tacos because they put so much Filling in each one.I am also unhappy about their being closed on Sunday, but subway and the fish pond are not that far away.”

“Today's visit I ordered carry-out to eat in so that my food would be ready when I arrived and I could avoid any line to hang with friends and small children. I was two minutes out (didn't have location on) but said I was at restaurant. By the time I arrived, found parking (lot was full, pouring rain) and got inside, it was well over 5 minutes. When I went inside, order wasn't ready, but they got my coffee (lukewarm) and creamer while I waited. My friends got in line and ordered while I was waiting for mine. Their table service came to them while I was still waiting for my carryout ( a breakfast sandwich, fruit). I asked about it and they said they would check. It was sitting there waiting, along with other orders, and also lukewarm.
I rarely eat in a CFA anymore, but this is not my normal experience for any CFA, so I'm hoping this was an exception.
My coffee refill was hot and fresh, better than the first! 🎉
Staff was courteous, as always, and regularly checked on our table to see if we needed anything.”

“Understaffed, but food is generally pretty good. Places like this need attention to keep operating, it’s as if the staff doesn’t care. Having to literally get up to get another drink or order more food won’t cut it. Clean up the bathrooms for god sake. A door that’s entirely off in the men’s room and a very obviously neglected cleaning regimen doesn’t speak well to the cleanliness of the facility in general. I want to see this place succeed but it seems like management is absent completely and a few are left to run the show. Its location isn’t ideal so they cannot afford to alienate the locals that would otherwise come here.”

“Best place to get a burger, there midnight and early morning hours. Sometimes it takes a while, but it’s well worth the wait. Shelby is fantastic btw and there’s a young lady that works in the morning that wears a hat. She’s very sweet”
