My friend & I eat here once a week for many years. Everything we order is delicious, temperature of food is hot, never cold, service is Always friendly, prompt, they keep our drinks filled and their bathrooms are as clean as Buccees!!

Los Pericos Mexican Restaurant is a great local spot for Tex Mex style food. The food is amazing, with great salsa and chips. Service is excellent, fast, friendly, and abundant, with workers always coming around for chips, salsa, and drink refills. The staff is very attentive, efficient, and friendly. The food is very good and reasonably priced compared to other Mexican restaurants. However, some tacos had more lettuce than meat. There are no specials on margaritas, and lunch specials are not much less than dinner. Smoking outside needs a cover for rain. The restaurant can get loud to an uncomfortable level due to margarita drinking guests. It is easy to get to and park, though it can get crowded on weekends. Overall, the food has gotten better for the price, and it is a good restaurant with unique dishes.
