It's really good for what it is :) They have a nice buffet with several preparations of chicken, vegetables, desert and drink for about $15 at lunch. It's not a high end buffet though; styrofoam trays and cups, and plastic forks. The food though is hot and tasty. The main thing that sets them apart from other fried chicken joints are the vegetables. I also like the homemade peach cobbler.
Mac and cheese left something out. I think it's the cheese.
If you're looking for classic, no-nonsense Southern comfort food, this is the spot. The star of the show is obviously the crispy fried chicken, but their sides—especially the rolls, mashed potatoes, and gravy—are top-tier. Everything on the buffet bar was fresh, well-stocked, and the service was incredibly friendly. Great value for the price! Parking is very limited and you're out of luck with an Oversized truck.
