I have never eaten Dominican food in my life, and my wife is from Spain, and I have to say, this might be some of the best food we have ever eaten in our lifves. I've been to 5 out of 7 continents, and I will be back without question. The owner is involved, the wait staff is attentive, and the food is off the charts. I recommend the tres leches for sure. Wow, unbelievable. Highly recommended,

Monarca is a beautiful, vibrant place with really cool vibes that welcomes guests. The food is excellent Dominican cuisine. Popular dishes include Habichuelas con Dulce, Sancocho, mofongo, chicharrones, and tamarind juice. Customers say the mofongo is at least top 3, sometimes the best. The staff is patient, kind, nice, and friendly. The service is incredibly patient and kind, taking the time to walk me through the entire menu. The wait staff was nice and friendly and the chef i would kiss. Tropical juices were generously served, including tamarind and parchita (passion fruit). The restaurant has a nice vibe and is a favorite for families and friends. Many recommend it and plan to return next week with friends.
