“I love the Cajun Curry Shrimp soup! So much so, it’s the only thing from there I have ever had…and I have it often! Obsessed with it!!My daughter came in from LA…the city, not state…lol…and I took her there! She loved it too!! It was confirmed by my own personal food critic that it is as awesome as I thought it was!Service is always good and pretty quick…except when there is a long line to order! Comes with the quest of good food though!“
“Crawfish $10.99 a pound.Platter B: $65.99 includes 2 cluster crabs, 1 pound shrimp, 1 pound crawfish, 3 corns, 3 potatoes, and 2 sausages.Sides are good! Potatoes cooked all the way through and corn is just right. Sides aren’t cooked in season blend, instead they are tossed in sauce of your choice.Flavor: House Blend (If you from PA, it taste like Kevin Rico’s Citrus Spice flavor)Crawfish a decent size!! BYOB fee $5Total for everything: $142“
“The shrimp and pork eggroll appetizer was fantastic. The perfect crunch and flavors made it very special. B1 and P2 soups are unforgettable. The pho broth is truly one of the best phos I've ever had. The garlic shrimp noodle is also very tasty. The noodles are perfectly cooked and flavored. My 4 year old loved it. My kids also enjoyed the fried catfish too. We will come back. What a gem of a restaurant!“
“This place is awesome!!! The place was clean and staffs are kind. Pho was flavorful and delicious. There were a lot of meats in the pho. Their appetizers were great. Particularly, their spring roll was legit! I went Vietnam and ate spring-roll at there. It was great, too. However, this spring-roll was better than the real Vietnam's spring-roll. I will definitely come here again. ?“
“SouthXSaigon restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience with its expert use of seasoning and bold flavors. Each dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing a perfect balance of spices and herbs that elevate the overall taste. From savory starters to decadent mains, the seasoning is spot on, enhancing the authenticity of Vietnamese cuisine. Whether you're indulging in their spicy crawfish or savoring their delicious fried rice, every bite bursts with flavor, leaving a lasting impression. It's a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Vietnam with a modern twist.“
“This place makes geat pho and is very reasonably priced! Bright, clean happy interior in a lesser-maintained older building. The parking lot is a disaster...BUT!!The food? Gorgeous, fresh vegetables, excellent hot tea, very nice noodle bowls and great, smiling service!??Lots of pretty pictures of their offerings already, so I didn't take any.My vermicelli soup, with chicken and delicious 'shrimp balls' was outta sight.Recommended!!“
“Hard to believe I have never posted a review for the very BEST (in my opinion don’t shoot the messenger) Pho place in the H!!!!! The Vietnamese spring rolls are literally beautiful and taste absolutely amazing!!!! And IYKYK it’s ALL about the broth and theirs is to die for!!!! You can tell from the way it smells that it’s going to be amazing!!!!! I normally get the old Saigon spring rolls and the Shrimp Pho!!!I have never come in and had a bad experience with the waitstaff they are so nice and move quickly! You can tell things are made with care! The atmosphere is also very cozy and inviting! If there is room you can sit anywhere and don’t be surprised if you have ended up staying a while lol!To top it all off, who give you a free dessert?! They do and I love my little creme brûlée spoon at the end of my meal!!!Don’t walk….run!!!!“
“I can't believe I still haven't wrote a review for Pho Sapa yet. This place is amazing, every time I was there, it is satisfying. The restaurant is clean, staff is friendly, their english is not very good but trying very hard to help you with your questions about food knowledge. My favorite dish is the big beef bone, I think it is a side dish which is about $5, it came in a huge bowl full of big big beef bones. The bones are flavorful, has good amount of meat on it and easy to peel off. I can never finish it and always bring it back to my dog. And my dog loves it too. Their signature item was the dry pho with soup on the side, it came with the special sauce to mix with the dry noodle, side veggies to make the dish more fulfilling.Pho is always great, their soup is clear, definitely brewed a long time not so much MSG taste in it because I don't have to drink so much water afterwards.Price is fair, very good place to have a nice inexpensive lunch or light dinner. Might have to go there early since they do run out of soup.Highly recommended.“
“Delicious food choices with the perfect hospitality. Mind-blowing ambience with soft music. We ordered artichokes and spring rolls with crab and mango inside, and duck curry with fried rice as main course. Creme brulee was our dessert which was so yummy ?Everything came up to $81, which seems a little expensive. The quality of food was perfect though. However, quantity needs to be reviewed.“
“CASH or ZELLE. Best = Beef Sandwhich $7 / Com Tam Dac Biet $14 Beef (try Lamb). 2nd = Chicken $5.95. 3rd = Pork or Meatball. Frozen Tamarind Juice / Matcha / Fish Sauce (lasts 7 days in fridge) $10. “We have been coming here for a few months and it has never disappointed! We have several food allergies and the chefs are very accommodating. Amazing wait staff and the food is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this gem in the neighborhood.“
“In our quest for the best pho in Sugar Land, Pho Viet emerged as our favorite. We have tried every place in Sugar Land, and can confidently say this place has the best pho in town. The broth has a deep, complex flavor. Their flavorful broth and generous portions make it a go-to spot for pho lovers. If you're in the area and want to try the best bowl of pho in Sugar Land, don't miss out.“
“My mom wanted a vegetarian meal for lunch and I remembered about this place when I was in the area, so we decided to try it out. I really enjoyed the decorations and atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was delicious and flavorful. We ordered 3 different dishes and my mother really enjoyed her dish. We will come back in the future.“
“I recently tried the Bahn mi sandwich with grilled pork at Roostar, and it was fantastic for just $7! I chose to sit outside and was pleasantly surprised by their lovely small garden area. The prices are reasonable, and the food tastes really good. The staff is incredibly friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. With inflation hitting hard, finding affordable and delicious meals like this is a win-win. I’ll definitely be coming back more often and highly recommend Roostar to others!“
“Delicious! Perfect for on the go meal. Meatball bahnmi was my goto until they put TKO on the menu. Pro tip: add a fried egg. Worth it. <3Perfect to order ahead and bring to a board gaming session :3The service is always amazing. Welcoming and friendly. If you haven't been here before, you need to stop by for a visit. Highly recommend.“
“Without a doubt, this is the best pho you can get around Pearland and Houston. This restaurant really pays attention to detail. Banh mi from most viet restaurants are simply too tough most of the time. The bread here is actually the right balance of crisp and softness. The pho has a ton of depth to it. The bowls, the silverware, atmosphere, etc. it all tells me the owner is meticulous.“
“The space is small but very clean, bright, and welcoming. I had the meatball bahn mi with pate which was excellent. The meatball was tender, the toppings were fresh, and the baguette was light and crispy, not chewy at all. Will definitely be back!“
“Found this while searching for a food delivery that offered Vietnamese coffee and I am so glad I did! Orders are always spot on, delivery is fast. No fuss and that chicken Banh Mi sandwich is incredible. I might have finished it in less than 30 seconds. The coffee is nice and strong and gets me through the work day. The chocolate chip cookie though? Gtfo with that. Really?? That might have been the BEST chocolate chip cookie I’ve ever had!!! No joke! Warm, soft, perfection. THIS PLACE IS A GEM.“
“Bread was the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy! The BBQ pork was super flavorful (chicken not as much). $5-$7 per sandwich depending on the filling (specialty may be more), but seemed like about the right price for what was being served. Milk Tea was good. Plenty of parking outside and lots of seating to enjoy the food inside.“
“I had the roasted pork banh mi and my wife had beef pho. We shared spring rolls and each got a nice drink (citrus tea with lemongrass for me, Vietnamese coffee for the wife). The food was excellent and the lady serving us was incredibly sweet and cheerful! We cannot wait to come back!“
“This place looked so nice inside, good ambiance! The food was good! We only tried a few of their items, but they were all scrumptious ?The size portions are good. I would want to come back to try more of their items. So, for now, all i could say is i would recommend this place. Im not saying its the best, but i was satisfied ??Also! Their iced coffee is sooo soo goood! Everytime i order vietnamese iced coffee anywhere, its just insanely good!! ?“
“Quan Yin Vegan Restaurant is a gem! Not only are their prices reasonable, but the food is also exceptional. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious vegan options that cater to all tastes. The ambiance is clean and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a meal with friends or family. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re a vegan or just looking to try something new, Quan Yin is definitely worth a visit!“
“It was wonderful.Lots of fresh ingredients, nice service. We were constantly asked if something was missing or if everything was OK.Large selection of meat, fish and vegetables. Ice cream was also available for dessert.Drinks and tea were refilled.Very clean and great facility.Thank you.“
“Food - ***** TeoChew Satay was incredible. Ended up getting an extra once to go. Dish seemed very authentic and full of flavor. Mongolian beef banh mi is definitely worth trying. Service - ***** like Kind, helpful, & efficient. Owner was gracious enough to explain the different dishes and made fantastic recommendations. Ambiance - ***** Street kitchen feel. It's a tiny place. Place felt authentic. I shall be back!“
“Great service, great atmosphere & great food!! I would have given it five stars for the food however I had the garlic ribeye in which the garlic noodle aspect was freaking amazing but the ribeye was chewy as hell. There were a few tender pieces (like 2) but mostly the pieces of meat had a lot of cartilage in it making it chewy and then id have to spit out the web like cartilage excess. I just got through with a sand volleyball tournament at the Decoy so I was so damn hungry I didn't really care too much and wasn't going to take the time to complain and wait for my food to be prepared again. The friends I brought with me all loved their food and we all had a fantastic time!I hope the owner/manager sees this review and improves the quality of the meat that they choose especially in this case. Where ever they are sourcing their ribeye, based on my experience, was low quality. Now keep in mind this might not be the norm however I would be reluctant to recommend the ribeye garlic noodle and instead would suggest others to try the other options of meat because the garlic noodle aspect was absolute bomb!!! Blessings ✨️“
“We ordered the cha gio, nem nuong, banh khoai, banh beo, and mi quang. All were delicious and fresh! Service was great and ambiance was standard. Lots of parking available even on LNY.Parking: Abundant free parking in a lot in front of restaurant.“
“Update: Thanks for your prompt feedback. I edited the post and give 4 stars for your nice gesture of following up on the review. I like your restaurant. Will be back when the Chef comes back.“Did you change the chef or the chef went vacation? If he or she does, please let me know when they came back. The broth tastes different. More salty than it used to be. Order 2 togo BBH. Missing basils and mints in my bag of vegetable. Server was polite. ““
“Been coming here for over a decade. The owner is very friendly. She knows and remembers our orders. The food is fresh and pho is satisfying. I also love the egg soda.Dietary restrictions: My son in law often wants more bbq meat with his order so the owner accommodates for a few dollars more.“
“On the menu: Pho only. And as you would expect from a place which offers basically only 1 item - it was delicious! The broth was spiced well and the meat was perfectly cooked. Service is super fast - food comes out after 5-10min. Prices are fair!Definitely one of best Pho spots“
“This place gets very busy so the wait was a bit long. I ordered bun rieu and bun bo hue to-go. Good portion and only $6.50. However, it felt like they just completely forgot my order because I was waiting for a long time. I mean it was to-go? So all you have to do is prepare it as in put all the food in the containers. I got a little annoyed because people who came in after me got their food first. Don't know if they pre-ordered beforehand but it was a few times before I finally went up and ask where is my food.Anyways, for a vegetarian dish, it was flavored nicely and I think people who doesn't like vegetarian food will enjoy it too. Plus it's healthy. You can taste a lot of tomatoes in the broth, almost a little sour to me. The bun bo hue was interesting, definitely not your usual bun bo hue.“
“Was looking for some noodle soup after 10pm and yelped into this place . It was old Pho Bingh By Night location. The combination pho, seafood egg noodle soup and special dry egg noodle are all very good. Service was great too . We will definitely return .“
“Go there. Just go. We've been eating at Duy whenever we are in Houston (seems like 20 years now), and this place is absolutely the tops. Seemingly endless options for vegan banh mi and vegan pho, with great rolls of various kinds, delicious homemade hot sauce, and a plethora of stuff to take away to reheat and/or cook at home. And EVERYTHING is DELICIOUS. The soup broth is perhaps the best vegan version anywhere. Houston is without doubt the premier place in the US for Vietnamese food, and there are plenty of great vegan spots (including Quan Yin, which is right around the corner from Duy, and San San Tofu, which is right up the street), and Duy is one of the very best. It's a true hole-in-the-wall, but don't let that put you off. Super friendly staff, too!“
“such a cute restaurant! interior design was gorgeous and had a lot of character. I liked how they had stools and little tables outside like vietnam. we got the bo ne, egg coffee, and lychee tea. bo ne was delicious and the meat was insanely tender. I wish there was a little more sauce but prob the best bo ne i've had in houston so far. egg coffee was also good, the coffee was pretty strong (for some maybe too strong), but the tea was just okay. service was also very nice! very attentive and walked through the menu with us when we said it was our first time. overall great place!“
“It's located in the same plaza as Le Duc bakery. It's on the far end right of the plaza. Plenty of parking in this plaza as it doesn't get too crowded. The inside of this place is your traditional Vietnamese setting. I believe they play Vietnamese music on the TV. The inside is quite cozy and casual. Noise level is normal.I always come here for their bun mang vit. They give you a big portion even though I usually get a small. For the larger size, they give you more bun and more veggies. The duck meat is usually fresh and not overcooked.Although, I wish their broth had a stronger duck taste. The flavors can be a bit bland but they give you two different kind of sauces. Their com chien bo luc lac is pretty good.“
“Saw this place on Instagram so brother and i tried it out. We are definitely coming back. The salt and pepper squid, black pepper and butter fried softshell crabs were so good! We also shared the hu tieu thap cam...pan fried noodles with beef, chicken and seafood in a brown gravy. It was all delicious!!!“
“Authentic delicious Vietnamese food. The menu is only in Vietnamese so we ordered using the food pictures online (Google and Yelp). We got the pork combo, curry seafood udon? (Not spicy), and the congee.Out toddlers liked the udon and congee. Strong Vietnamese coffee as well!Highly recommend and would come back again!“
“Absolutely best non MSG home made Pho, superb and unique Flambé steak with rice, shredded chicken spring rolls!! We have come to this place since the rice village days too for over 20 years and the second owner is even better than the first!“
“Unique purple restaurant with literally everything is in color purple (it's pretty overwhelming tbh!). Their lẩu bún mắm do taste good though and they even had bông điên điển to go with the bún mắm, which is pretty hard to find. We ordered a medium portion which kinda enough for a family of 5 (we dont usually eat a lot so that portion just feel right for us).“
“Hue food or Central Viet food is such a unique part of Viet culture. It's not common to find an authentic Viet restaurant that can do Hue food right. This is a mom/pop kind of place and that's how you know you're at the right place. A sweet Viet grandma came by and took our orders. We ordered the banh bot loc as appetizers to share and then each got our own main dish. Loved the banh bot loc. It came unwrapped from the usual banana leaf. Bun Bo hue is probably the most popular Hue food and the broth was on point with the right kind of spice. It's more of a kick rather than it being really spicy.I ordered mi quang which is one of my faves Viet food. Great portion and the turmeric noodles had the perf texture. The ambience feels like what you would expect if you were looking for authentic Viet food. The menu does have English translations so easy to order if you don't speak Viet.“
“This place is HEAT ??? I’m from south Louisiana and had never had viet-cajun style crawfish and let me tell you it was FIRE. Great food, great people, 10/10 service. Our waitress Ally was awesome and kept us filled up the whole time. Couldn’t ask for better.“
“I can’t believe I’ve never been to this place before. We can in for dinner past 8pm and it was still packed! We didn’t have to wait long for a table, just got seated within minutes of walking in. We ordered pho, vermicelli bowl and a banh mi. The broth was very very good, noodles had a slippery texture and meat seemed fresh! Not too crazy about the banh mi but the pho and vermicelli bowl made up for it. Service was awesome, food came out quick. Will definitely recommend this place and come back to try more items on their menu.“
“Clean restaurant, the Beef Pho was really delicious and full of topping, staff was friendly and they have Karaoke inside you can sing freely. Especially it open until midnight which hardly to find Pho at that time. I usually want to eat Pho after my work late night and this will be my place to go for. I will be back again!“
“I’ve been a regular at Pho Bhin, and their pho combinations never disappoint! However, I do wish they offered dry chili for those who love extra spice like me. On the bright side, their watermelon smoothie is a delightful addition to any meal. Overall, thumbs up for their tasty pho!“
“Traditional style Cafe serving amazing pho, and whats even better is they open at 7am! Tip: If you get there around 10am ask for the bone, they make their broth from bones and you can get one with your pho upon request...if they haven't ran out ?“
“This was my first time trying this. The service was okay I called in a order guy said ten minutes wasn't ready. I think the young lady put the when I got there which is typical for some restaurants. Insurance on not wasting the food. But the food was phenomenal. You have to try there chicken spring rolls they are so good.“
“I recently had a great dining experience at Tan Tan. My server, Kiki, was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. She made sure our drinks were always refilled and that we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the Eggplant with Basil which was cooked perfectly and had a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Orange Chicken was also very good, with a crispy coating and a sweet and tangy orange sauce. The Beef Corn Soup was a hearty and flavorful starter, and the Fried Pork Intestines was a delicious and adventurous option.Overall, I had a great experience at Tan Tan Restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Chinese or Vietnamese meal in Houston.“
“This family owned restaurant values quality, atmosphere and friendliness. Best choices and Vietnamese food near me. By far the best owners and employees. Watch games on the huge screen TV or just take a seat at the bar and enjoy drink. Room for everyone, family friendly, and perfect chill date night. Ask for Thai - great at what he does and you’ll never feel bad tipping him, he works his butt off. Enjoy!Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“I think the restaurant is called Pho Basil now. Me and my boyfriend came and ordered a chicken pho, shaken beef with rice, and beef spring rolls. It was the best pho in Houston I’ve tried! Sooo flavorful and the waiter was nice and food came out fast.“
“The food is always amazing! I don't eat pork, but my fiance does and they love the pork dishes! I love the beef and chicken dishes. Our favorites are the traditional Vietnamese egg rolls, pho ga (chicken pho), and their banh mi (sandwiches)! Their egg rolls are super addicting and their pho is so homey and delicious ?. It's really nice comfort food! The servers are super sweet and polite ?My fiance and I have tried different pho and Vietnamese places and personally this is the best place. What makes it even better is the lunch special that is from 11 am to 2 pm ! It's comfort food at a cheap price! If you haven't been here you're absolutely missing out !Parking: There are a limited amount of spots right in front since it's in a strip center. But there are tons of parking elsewhere.Kid-friendliness: They allow kids and babies, etc. They have some kid friendly dishes too. They also have some sweet music playing in the background“
“There are restaurants that focus so much on their food that they reduce their muse to perpetual mediocrity; This restaurant is not among them. While some, rather successful, restaurants focus primarily on sandwiches, this one has their eyes keen on soup. Most generic Vietnamese restaurants fail when merely attempting one facet of the cuisine. Yet, this one has met and exceeded my expectations.Include a delightful view of the sunset, and it becomes a trove of treasures just waiting to be discovered. Peer deeper into the color scheme geared to have your appetite build, and the inspiration becomes self evident. Will you be the next one to discover why this one enjoys a seat at this wonderful establishment? Should one be found within such trove, seek out the beef combination soup; For those with a penchant for heat and spice, be advised, they are aptly accommodating to such needs.Mid Spring heat, and early Summer waves of dryness, will have to wait while taking delight in a refreshing Iced Coffee. Cost-effective meals can be found within a streamlined menu, leaving behind a feeling of serendipity. There isn't a price point that can take away the value of this establishment, for solace can be found amidst the wide variety of flavor; It is for this reason, amongst others, that this establishment has my gratitude. Thank you.“
