Nostalgia of a banh mi shop that offers a buy 5 get 1 free deal. Always a good startTried their two specials with cold cuts; one with chicken and another with pork. I decided to give this place a try after seeing it on Alison Cook's Top 100 list and as a farewell meal for my grandma before she flew home. She is vegetarian and I am used to Vietnamese restaurants having good vegetarian options. Unfortunately, Khang's really only had egg options since they ran out of tofu. Bread was the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy! The BBQ pork was super flavorful (chicken not as much). $5-$7 per sandwich depending on the filling (specialty may be more), but seemed like about the right price for what was being served. Milk Tea was good. Plenty of parking outside and lots of seating to enjoy the food inside.
