“WOW- best pho I've had in a looong while. I could smell the fragrance from the broth before it reached my table and I feel truly nourished after eating. Great quality food and amazing flavor. I also got spring rolls and my big pet peeve is lazy mild rolls and this place blew me away with actual delicious rolls with more filling than just some bland lettuce. This is by far my go to pho spot now- give them a try!!“

“Glad I came across this Viet-Cajun fusion place as a social media recommendation. The flavors offered and value were exceptional, and we had a great experience with food, service and atmosphere. I think most customers are probably local from Westchase but this place deserves way more publicity.

We ordered the hush puppies, Bo luc lac/shaking beef with fried rice, honey lemon pepper wings, and Southside Cajun pasta with shrimp. I always thought I didn’t like hush puppies because they’re usually so bready but these were the best I’ve ever had. Kind of like a honey biscuit + cornbread combo with an incredible crispy buttery texture.

The server let us know about the 10 for $10 wing deal, awesome, and the wings were insane! Crisp, flavorful, never got soggy. Need to try the regular lemon pep next. The pasta and shaking beef were both perfect and hit the spot.“

“Not Just some pho. Try the soft shell crab, fresh and crunchy. I don't see this dish in other pho places.

The pho was good and reasonably priced. The combination with a short rib is only $15. The pho portion size was more than enough four me.

My wife ordered the vermicelli with grilled chicken. The chicken was seasoned with a dry rub. We prefer the wet marinade style.

We'll be back. There's a couple of others dishes i don't see often and would to try. Not Just pho.“

“Good place to eat and serves great portions if you know what you're asking for. If you're non vietnamese speaking, ask for the special bowl with the beef bone and that is what you will get. The marrow and meat is so tender and flavorful when mixed with the soup. It yields an immense amounts of complimentary flavor with the broth they have already made by default. Strongly recommend ordering this. Service is good at start but dont expect a refill automatically unless you raise your hand and ask for it. The owner is very sweet and reminds you of a mother or grandmother you wish you could have.“

“Nice Vietnamese place in Chinatown. We wanted to get Vietnamese, but didn’t know where to go and thought this place looked authentic. The menu is pretty small- I think just Bahn Mi and Broken Rice, with different types of meat. I tried the broken rice and my mom had the pork bahn mi. The portions are huge, but the meat is super flavorful. The lady who served us and was also really nice. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area“

“First time trying this place based on an article I saw from Eatery and it did not disappoint! It was so satisfying that I decided to write this 5 star review right away. I got the banh mi thit nuong (bbq pork baguette) and the seasoning was just right with a slight buttery taste on the baguette. The baguette was soft and fluffy yet still maintained a little crispiness on the outside but not to where it will injure the upper roof of your mouth. Anyway the banh mi thit nuong reminds me of this other place I used to love but stopped going there because quality went down. Glad I tried this place and this will be my go-to banh mi shop from now on! I will definitely be back to try the other banh mi! I hope they maintain their quality!“

“Went there for lunch since I was on that side of town for work and got it to go. It was delicious! I got the shaking beef, shrimp fried rice, and egg rolls. I appreciated the pieces of garlic cloves with the beef. I will be back even though I live 40 minutes away! The service was great and the woman cashiers was extremely nice.“

“Came here for a quick lunch and man let me tell you! Im a sucker for a really good Banh mi! The Pork Banh mi i ordered was delicious! Bread was warm and toasty, the pork was cooked to perfection with great flavor! Got here around 12:10pm and was not packed at all. The ladies are so nice. You can tell they cook with love here! Will keep coming back! After I finished my food went ahead and ordered some spring rolls to go and that was also delicious!“

We got a XL Brisket, Steak, and Tendon pho and a L Traditional Pho.

The portions were huge, everything tasted fresh, and we really enjoyed the flavor of the soup and beef. Not super oily and I left feeling full and one of the few times where I was actually too full to finish the soup.

“This is a little bit further down on Bellaire but we have been there twice. I have eaten a lot of their special dishes because I like to taste authentic Vietnamese food. If you are ever curious about how the Vietnamese really eat go there immediately and be adventurous. You will not be disappointed. I am not Vietnamese and yet tried a dish that was more of a sampler but you dipped everything into shrimp paste. There are many Vietnamese who will not eat it due to its strong aroma and smell. I took a chance and ate it. The paste was strong but honestly super cool and fun to try. It's amazing that someone would have invented something like shrimp paste but no big deal. “First time in Houston and my friends brought me here for brunch! Once I walked in I was greeted nicely and noticed the place was busy. We were seated in the booth area which was comfy. My friends recommended me a dish name Bo Ne. So I decided to give it a try. The wait was faster than I expected. My dish was served hot and looked very delicious with all my favorites on a plate with a side salad! Beef, cherry tomatoes, onions, eggs and fresh baguette with pate and butter! (: The salad was also yummy! The dressing as well. Coming from a cook myself I would like to give a shoutout to the chef! I give the dish an 11/10! My waitress Thian was so sweet and very helpful! There is a pitcher with ice cold water on the table so no need to ask or wait to be asked for refills every few minutes. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but they had good selections. The dining area was busy and cultural. It can be a bit cleaner just keeping it real. Other than that I give the whole experience a 10/10. The parking lots was mostly filled surprisingly! I am guessing because it’s a Sunday and everyone just got out of church who knows but was still able to find parking luckily.
