“I've been meaning to write this review for a while but have put it off for one reason or another. Le'Drip is dripping with flavor and style. I like the ambience of the small cafe. Weekends look pretty packed with lots of young folks enjoying their weekend but weekdays seem more relaxed with all the youngsters in school. There's not a lot of room but enough for you to comfortably sit and visit. The music playing in there is trendy. I heard a Chris Stapleton song once while waiting for my order. The staff is very nice, helpful and polite. I always appreciate great customer service. The drinks are very good. I don't find many places that get ca phê trứng (Egg Coffee) right, especially iced. Le'Drip impressed me with their version. I thoroughly enjoyed the stout Vietnamese coffee taste. In my opinion whether ca phê sữa đá or otherwise, the coffee has to be legit and strong or it throws everything else off. If you want a sweeter coffee try Bác Xíu (White Coffee), which is much sweeter. The ca phê trứng however was exceptional compared to others I've tried recently. On a whim, I tried the Soursop Thai Tea. It's good but too sweet for me. If sweetness is your weakness, by all means, you may love this drink. Le'Drip has impressed me so far and I'll return to try other drinks in the future.“

“First off, I am a big fan of Roostar so I went in with some level of comparison in my mind... with that said, the banhmi is delicious. I got the crackling pork banh mi and it is actually crackling pork that's crispy. Friends and I also shared the fancy bulgogi fries and it was an addicting bite each time. They use the thin long french fries (think McDonald's style) in case it matters to anyone. The portion is quite big so it's definitely shareable as a side. The alphabet soup is a personal favorite of mine at Roostar and dare I say that I like this one more. The beef pieces are larger and overall has a more pho-like broth. Overall, this place is great. I live less than 5 minutes from here so it's much closer than Roostar for me. Love that there is a yummy banhmi/boba shop near me. It's always hard to find updated menus for small businesses without websites yet so hope the menus are helpful. The lunch specials are a great deal also (menu pictured).“

“My mom and I went around 6PM on Christmas Eve, and ordered a strawberry slushy w/strawberry jelly and strawberry pomegranate black tea rainbow jelly & lychee jelly. Those were the best drinks we’ve ever had! The area was super clean. The employees were all really nice and helpful with choosing stuff off the menu (it was 1 girl and 3 guys). I get anxious ordering at restaurants…so I really appreciate them. Great people. We also ordered a strawberry snow dessert after the employees recommended it, but unfortunately the machine broke. They offered a refund or different item off the menu. We didn’t know what to pick, so they let us pick 2 food items we couldn’t decide on. We received Fried Calamari and Cajun fries. The calamari was very tasty and crunchy and came with a side of sweet chili sauce I think. The fries were light & perfect texture (not too crunchy and not too soft) and it was a bunch of them for such a low price! I’ve been looking for a place like this. “This is truly a hidden gem!! I stopped by two other coffee shops before arriving here. Summer Moon had no seats and I was ignored by the barista. The coffee shop further down was also overcrowded. The only other people were a couple on a date.The coffee was original and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my croissant sandwich. I would hands down visit again!!“
“I absolutely love J-Tea. Although i'm not too keen on their milk teas their tropical fruit tea is one of my favorite drinks of all time! It's super refreshing in the texas heat and the fruit and jellies are such a treat. This boba shop is very cutely decorated with tons of seating. There's even a cute place for a photo-op! The service has always been very quick and all the boba baristas here are very friendly. The only thing I would have to complain about is the price, as $7 a cup the tropical fruit teas are definitely a tad bit overpriced but they taste amazing so I can't help but treat myself once in a while.“

I got the regular Yomie’s purple rice yogurt, haw purple rice yogurt, and straw to my berry. The purple rice yogurt and the haw purple yogurt were similar. The yogurt tastes similar to Vietnamese yogurt and is a bit on the tart side, and there are pieces of purple rice. Out of all the chains I've been to, Mr. Wish's pearl bobas are by far the softest and most flavorful, even superior to 7 Leaves, another favorite of mine. That makes sense. Mr. Wish is at its heart, keeping the closest tradition to making Taiwanese boba. The must-try drink is one of their classics. Their fruit teas are amazing, but their milk teas are incredible. To never go wrong, try their Pearl Milk Tea, 60% sugar, less ice. They put soooo much boba into their drinks. And whenever I have their first sip, I go agh. always know I'm home when I'm here. “I got multiple banh mi to try. The Korean bbq banh mi was a perfect level of sweetness and banh mi flavors. The shaking beef was also cooked perfectly and paired well with the normal banh mi flavors. The banh mi dac biet is my favorite over all. They stuffed it with lots of meat and veggies. Everything is very fresh and delicious. The nuoc mia is also made fresh and was delicious. The boba was a little soft but the milk tea was pretty good. “There is no food here as it’s a milk tea store with seating. Clean.Ordered a honey milk tea and wanted 70% honey sweetness and she said only 50% or 100%!!?? Don’t you think it would be easy and good customer service to put slightly more honey over the 50% or slightly less honey under 100% to make a paying customer happy. Small accommodating services are missing from so many establishments these days. There’s always an excuse/reason for not doing customizations when you are already paying for it. We traveled from the DFW area to visit some schools and looked for a great milk tea establishment while we had some extra time. There are a fine a dozen milk tea shops and we wanted to try an authentic Taiwanese place as that is where I lived for many many years and the Taiwanese people never let me down with service. I was a little disappointed today. With that said, the honey milk tea was acceptable as was the honey lemon osmanthus tea.“

It's $7-$8 for a sandwich here. $16 easily for two sandwiches without a drink and before tax. I get a bigger bang for the buck at Subway's or at Lee's sandwich. For $16, I can get 3 sandwiches in Bellaire Blvd. But I get it, this is not Bellaire, and real estate is probably more than in Chinatown. 3. Ambiance - cute and small. They have an open kitchen concept. Dress code here is casual. Order and pay at the front before sitting down. 4. Food - I ordered their LEMONGRASS PORK and SPECIAL COMBO Banh Mi sandwiches. The Lemongrass Pork sandwich was really flavorful and good, but the Special Combo sandwich was ok. Not as good as their Chinatown counterparts. Not only is this place more expensive, but the sandwiches are tiny. 5. Cleanliness - no complaints here. The place seems nice and clean. SUMMARY: I haven't tried all the food items here. For what it's worth, it's great to have a Vietnamese sandwich shop in the Energy Corridor area. But it is more expensive compared to other Banh Mi shops in Houston. The price tag would be a reason I may reconsider in going. However, the food is not bad and I would come back if I have a craving and not willing to travel to Chinatown for them.“

“We enjoyed our Strawberry Breeze drink and LOVED the milk foam cake Strawberry Princess! The cake was so light and not overly sweet and the strawberries were fresh. Nice little spot for a quick treat! They had a pretty decent amount of seating and there was seating outside as well. Service was not great. We weren't greeted when we came in so we just ordered from the kiosk and was not asked if we needed assistance after standing there a while. But it really didn't disrupt our experience. We were able to track our order and received text when order was ready. I would definitely recommend and would come back if I was ever in the area again!“
