“I really enjoyed the tik tok soup. Got it just like it comes although there is an option to order with rice noodles and fried shrimp balls as well. Shrimp balls tasted so fresh and clean. Soup was seasoned perfectly and I enjoyed the variety of flavors and textures. I would eat this once a week if I lived nearby. The herbs were really fresh and lovely. The fried egg rolls were good too. Service was very friendly but we were there for a late lunch and no one else was there. Wife had hieu tieu which she was so so on but I think you need to order the tik tok soup if you go. Her shrimp cracker was really good though. Restaurant seemed clean and bathrooms were fine too.“

“The best wonton soup I've ever had. Absolutely recommend the garlic shrimp noodles, and the wonton soup. The sign out front isn't with the restaurant is called on Google so I wasn't sure at first. But I'm so glad we went in. It was so good we ordered food to go as well.“

“Omgoodness, this was probably the best Thai food I’ve had in Houston. The curry was flavorful, the pad see eew had a lot of meat. I was craving some fish curry and they were able to accommodate that. I wasn’t really a fan of the skewers though. It seemed a little thin and a bit bland. The food came out fast. “The taste is so good. I have been eating this soup for more than 10 years, but I’ve been a customer here for 2 years.

Sometimes when I order extra spicy online, I receive regular spicy. I always pay $1 extra for extra spicy because I really love spicy food.

One day when I ordered extra spicy at the restaurant, the waitress explained to me twice that it’s already spicy. I understand she was just worried about me 😊

But since there is an extra spicy option and customers choose extra spicy, please make it extra spicy. When I get the wrong spice level, I can’t enjoy the food because it doesn’t meet my taste level.“

Service and atmosphere:
Service was friendly and quick.
The place is located in the area that has a few different eateries next to each other which gives it food hall like vibe but in a good way. The food is served at the bar area.

Food and drinks:
The pho soup was good and didn't disappoint. Soft noodles and thin sliced meat. The broth was balanced and had good amount of garnish. A bit of chilli sauce did the trick too.
Spring rolls were good but the peanut sauce was too salty.

Pricing:
Just right.“

“The interior is very nice and the service is excellent. The two young gentlemen were very polite and welcoming. I got 3 bowls, 1 of the house special braised beef, 1 of the pig intestines, and 1 dry mix. They were all delicious and the flavor was on point! “Always enjoy coming back to Jiu Fu Cafe. The braised platter is consistently good — flavorful, tender, and well-seasoned without being overly salty. Their congee is also one of my favorites in the area, smooth and comforting, especially when you want something warm and satisfying.

Food quality has been very consistent across visits, and portions are reasonable for the price. Service is quick and the atmosphere feels casual and relaxed, great for a simple meal any time of day.

“Food was great, as always. We always get #16, Phở Tái Chín - Noodle soup with eye of round steak and lean brisket. Broth is always delicous, meat is always great. No complains there. The spring rolls are also delicious, specially adding sriracha to the peanut sauce and mixing it. The only downside was one time I went and when i asked for extra limes (was only given 2 slices to start off with), they said they couldn't give me extra, or if they did they'd have to charge me. Given that I only ask for Limes and Jalapeños, not the extra veggies, i didn't think i should be charged. In the same visit, i asked for extra meat, and never brought it out. How i know? My wife ordered the same order, without the extra meat and both looked identical. They then brought it out when i was almost finished eating (this was after we told them not to bring it out anymore, we did advise them of the missing extra meat). We haven't gone back since; but will probably try again, maybe this time i'll take my own limes. xD“
