“Finally made it to one of my bucket list restaurants to try! Didn’t disappoint! My family really enjoyed all the food we’ve ordered! Got to try the boat noodle, chicken curry, beef jerky,papaya salad,Laos chicken wings,beef laab and to top it all off their green Thai tea. It was all fabulous!! Hats off to the owner for her hospitality! When we’re in town again. We will be sure to come again!!“

“After seeing on television that the restaurant won a James Beard award, I put it on my list of places to go. The expectations were pretty high, and our party was not disappointed. The medium spice level was perfect...flavorful with a kick. Drunken Noodles, Krapow Beef, and the Meatball Appetizer were our favorites. This restaurant was an hour drive for us and did not disappoint. It was worth the trip, and we will be back. The only two criticisms would be that their front door is darkened, and from outside, does not look like an actual entrance. And the noise level was a little high, so our server had to repeat herself a few times, but she didn't seem to mind and checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying ourselves“

“Love this spot! They get busy but the wait is never too long and they’ve got some seating outside in the front of the restaurant that made the wait not bad at all. I’m a big pad thai fan and coming from Austin we’ve got our fair share of great spots for pad thai but Malai takes the crown. The best chicken pad thai I’ve ever had and now I’m craving it haha.“

“This was my first time trying this restaurant and I am absolutely BLOWN away by it. The food is so full of flavor and good. I had this delivered and everything was still steaming when I opened it. Even for a lunch portion it still was a great amount of food. The packaging was amazing to make sure nothing spilled and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I used to love Thai cottage before they closed and haven't found another Thai restaurant I truly liked in the area until now. This is now my go to for Thai food.“

Emmy was our server and she was so sweet and attentive during our meal. my friend and shared the fried calamari, roti curry, tom yum soup with tofu, and pad see ew with shrimp. we also got a thai tea and matcha to go. I recommend spice level 2 for a good amount of spiciness! the food is also a great price for how big the portions are.
we will definitely be returning soon to try the mango sticky rice 😋“

“All of the food is authentic Thai cuisine. The chef is Thai and very experienced, and everything we tried was incredibly flavorful and delicious.

It’s not an American fusion version of Thai food—it’s authentic.

The owner is also very nice and attentive. She made sure all the customers were enjoying their food and having a great experience.

“Hands down the best Thai Boat Noodles we have in H-Town!!

I came here after craving Thai Boat Noodles and it did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful and hearty with a great spice. The bowl came out piping hot with plenty of meat and noodles.

We got the Shrimp Salad for the table to share and it had a zesty tang which resembled ceviche. The onions gave it a nice crunch and there was a good amount of shrimp. They also provided us a bowl of rice which we mixed the leftover sauce from the salad into.

My friend got the Tom Yum Noodles which had a lighter broth not too spicy.“

The décor is stunning — warm lighting from woven pendant lamps, cozy seating, and a modern yet inviting vibe that instantly makes you feel comfortable. Service was top-notch: our server checked on us often without being intrusive, and the owner personally came out to make sure we were having the best experience. The food was absolutely delicious! The crab fried rice is a must-try — loaded with huge chunks of sweet crab meat, perfectly seasoned, and served in a generous portion that could easily be shared (though you might not want to!).
