So clearly, they don’t pay me to advertise & they don’t have to because I come here whenever I’m downtown for anything. I call ahead and take it to Katy.

I know this place before it was here. Before, it was across the street.

These peeps are legit. Just come here and you won’t be disappointed. This is my staple go to is the anything really.

“What an absolute gem. This place encapsulates everything I love about Houston. The menu is extensive and yet everything is executed so quickly and perfectly. Quirky interesting dishes that are done just the way they were on my trip to Tokyo. Loved the ramen, the skewers, the tempura, and so many little bites. The prices are shockingly reasonable -- you can try so many dishes, especially if you're there with friends and order for the table, plus drinks and dessert, and come out with a bill that would barely cover an entree anywhere else. And the decor is fun, just like an authentic hole-in-the-wall yakitori in Japan. I can't get enough of this place.“

Fried chicken was great. Fried octopus appetizer was also appreciated with different condiment powder choices for dipping.

Potato salad also excellent and a favorite of partner.

Tried and very much liked the spicy fries as well.

Ramen portions are abundant so either come very hungry or be prepared to take some home

“My first visit here was absolutely fantastic! The two young staff members were incredibly warm and attentive. I really loved the rice—and if you want an extra serving, it’s only $1.50. The bone broth was excellent, too; it was rich and flavorful, and the meat was cooked until it was incredibly tender. The kimchi was the best I’ve ever had, and the shop itself was spotless and tidy. “We decided to try this place out because we were craving the grilled pork we get downtown at Mai’s but didn’t want to travel. They exceeded our expectation. Everything was fabulous. We had the shaking beef, chicken wings in fish sauce, crab puffs, shrimp spring rolls, and a sampler plate that included about six items, all of which were cooked to perfection. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. All food was cooked to order. Would highly recommend.“

“Came in around 12:30pm after a haircut. It was only me and another guest. Ordered the small chao long, which was a pretty decent portion, along with a side of fried doughnut. Food was delicious, and definitely fixed my craving. Not sure if it’s normally dead in there, but hoping that they get more guests. The young girl who took my order and the aunties working the shop were all so nice.“

“We were in the area as I was dropping bae off at the airport and we were looking for something to eat before his flight. We stumbled upon this place and boy am I glad we did because the food was absolutely divine!

I had the garnished tilapia with jollof rice and vegetables. Not sure what vegetables I was eating perhaps spinach but they were cooked to perfection. Bae had the garnished goat meat which was so tender and I appreciate the bite sized cuts instead of the chunky portions. I low key wished I had gotten the goat.
We ended up getting a side of jollof rice because the goat meat plate did not come with any sides. I will definitely be back if I am on that side of town again.

The four stars are because I wish they adjusted the spice levels. I like my food spicy and Bae who is Yoruba’s spice level is not for this world! so the food wasn’t as spicy to both of us as we would’ve liked.

Service was a little bit slow, but I think it’s because they do make the food fresh. Nice clean restaurant great customer service and cannot wait to be back next time I’m in humble“

“Fabulous beef noodle soup. Meat was tender with lean and fatty pieces. Beef was not gamey. Noodles were al dente. Broth was clean, but could’ve been a bit richer for another level of deliciousness. (if you’re Vietnamese, it’s like BBH without the oily lemongrass broth). Fried egg was interesting. It didn’t really add to the flavors but was a nice treat. Only vegetables was broccoli. Probably better with Chinese broccoli or some other ask greens. Overall, nice bowl of noodle soup for $11.99. Generous portion. Free hot tea and self service utensils.“

“Chun's Cafe proves to be the best mom and pop Chinese Restaurant with wonderful fresh food. I have come twice and stay ordering the Pineapple chicken that has a vibrant yellow sauce with pineapple slices that tastes sweet and then savory once you get to the chicken which is a great quality meat! Their Orange Chicken has a small, but pleasant kick that adds flair to the taste. I tasted my girlfriend's order of their honey peach chicken, and while very sweet, is very delicious and hard to turn away from! The crab rangoon is stellar, the fried exterior is done to a crisp brown coloring so the outside perfectly opposes the melty inside. We arrived around 7 PM and found plenty seating for 5 of us and quick turnaround for the food! They have plenty of options for the family and would highly recommend giving this local spot a try!“

“We went for a late lunch. We stood at the enhance waiting to be greeted and seated. After a few minutes we ended up grabbing 3 menus and silverware then finally the hostess came up to us. Seemingly annoyed and with slight attitude, she took back the silverware and menus and walked us to a table, not asking if the seating was ok or if we wanted a booth. Before even pulling out a chair, we decided to move to the booth right next to the table where she sat us. Our server was great, it took a while to get the food but she was accommodating. Then the hostess came around the corner to seat another table of guests near us. She seen that we had moved and literally sucked her teeth, looked at us and huffed puffed like a teenage girl. This woman is well seasoned to be having such an attitude. I would understand if they were busy and if it was an inconvenience, but it was around 3 or 4 in the afternoon and very few guests. Other than that, the food was good.“

“This is the Best Olive Garden we've ever been to! We've been dining here for like three decades, or more, and it's always hot and fresh, and if you ever need anything fixed they immediately fix it for you. They hire only the most people friendly waiters and waitresses, and all the managers, and assistant managers, are highly skilled at customer service and pleasing all their patrons. This is the best Olive Garden in all of Houston! Just go here and you'll be hooked. My favorite is the hot angel hair pasta spaghetti with extra meat sauce, with parmesean on top. Paired with a super fresh salad, with extra black olives and tomatoes. We also order both the chicken gnoki, and minestrone, soups requested extra hot with parmesean on top. The chocolate mints, requested after the entrees, make your night!“
