Came here on a random Monday night and our server, Tony, is absolutely amazing! I would come again just for him alone but the food is also amazing!! He taught us about the food, the best way to eat it, and the culture. It was so so fun talking to him and he made us laugh a lot. My group and I had the best experience ever. Now I have been here a total of three times and I live out of state. I first came when it was new and this was prior to ayce. The food was fresh and the price was fair at that point but now it's ayce and it's so much better. There's various level of ayce here with different price but since we came out of state we opted for the higher priced tier to get some wagyu. Broth is so flavorful. The new AYCE menu is a sweet deal and offers super high beef while costing a fair amount of money. Without the AYCE option, it ends up costing too much to feel full here. I like the location being away from main Chinatown area as it has become too crowded and stressful on Bellaire. Would return to Shabu Squared as I was very pleased with the quality and service!
