SUCH A GREAT FIND! This spot consists of a bakery in the heart of a shopping center full of great Filipino/Asian options nearby (e.g. Jolibee, Asian Market, etc.) They have a breadth (see what I did there) of baked goods, but also drinks and sweet treats like halo halo. The halo halo was very tasty and not too sweet, but just right. The baked goods were fresh. The service was excellent! BEWARE - it can get packed, but that’s how you know it’s good.

I was in Ube Heaven yesterday! We ordered all the yummy drinks ( Leche flan shake, ube shake, buko pandan and ube Oreo) and they were all so good! We were only in houston for one night and since we live in San Antonio, we went crazy with Filipino food! This place is the Filipino version of 85 degrees! I wish they would open one in San Antonio! The bakery goods were delicious as well! I had to buy all the ube I could get my hands on!

The bakery itself is nice and clean and small but not cramped! The staff is kind and I love that you can see them baking goods! Almost everything we got was a hit, I think the ones we didn't enjoy were more traditional Filipino treats that we weren't used to. All three tres leches we had were amazing (mango, biscoff, and ube Oreo). My favorite items were the ube piaya and ube hopia, both had a flaky pastry element.
