“I had a great experience. I only wish I had taken a photo before I consumed it all. Everybody was friendly, even gave me a sample to try before I bought a plate which I believe is amazing! That speaks volumes about the chefs confidence to put good food on a plate. I would definitely come back.“
“I loved the atmosphere, food was good and the service was incredible (maggie) along with the hostess who took our picture! But what stopped the experience from being as incredible was the annoying kitchen door near us (near the host facing the bar), even the music couldn't help. ?“
“Me and my Friend went here last Saturday for breakfast. He recommended good food and even explained how to order, and what to order. He is also very knowledgeable about US History, Military, Politics, Religion, and the same topics as his home country which is the Philippines. He even shared that this is the ONLY Filipino Restaurant around Bellaire. I like the ambiance in the morning because it is so quiet, but for sure it is also entertaining at night with their happy hour and music.I will recommend this to my friends as their food is authentic and feels like home.“
“I got the Amboy burger and hand cut fries. The burger had interesting soft white bun (slightlyyyy sweet)- while it was unique and decent, I prefer a more toasted (?) bun. The patty was quite thick so while the burger looked deceptively small, it was quite big and justified the price. I didn't love the patty consistency but the burger overall tasted good, although nothing inherently unique or Filipino. The fries were pretty underwhelming- next time I would try their loaded fries.“
“This was my first time ordering from this place i was referred by one of my coworkers. And i must have to say food was delicious and fresh. It was fast too the Lady even called me to let me know my order was ready friendly atmosphere. I will be returning back to this location. Thank you very much for fast service and food. Blessings love n light. ❤️“
“Gerry’s Grill was a pleasant surprise for us! It is a Filipino restaurant we did not realize as we came in. It’s in Asia town. But wow so much good food!!! ??? we had garlic adobo shreds, crispy pata (deep fried pork knuckles), grilled squid, bangoong rice, and mixed veggies chopsuey. It was all great and there was this garnish made from pickled papaya and carrot that was great! My sister and kept asking for more ? Then to top it off they had a band playing at about 8:30pm which we got to listen to as we let the food settle.Lastly, JJ our waiter was fantastic! Patient and friendly! We loved him! “
“At the first moment you step in that restaurant they give you a nice feeling. Very friendly stuff, it is a good restaurant to pass time with your friends or with your date. yummy cuisine, specialist chef de cuisine, reasonable cost and courteous service. Warmly recommended.“
“SUCH A GREAT FIND! This spot consists of a bakery in the heart of a shopping center full of great Filipino/Asian options nearby (e.g. Jolibee, Asian Market, etc.) They have a breadth (see what I did there) of baked goods, but also drinks and sweet treats like halo halo. The halo halo was very tasty and not too sweet, but just right. The baked goods were fresh. The service was excellent! BEWARE - it can get packed, but that’s how you know it’s good.“
