“I wanted to get a mango cake for my husband and was going to drive all the way to Chinatown. I found this place literally 5-8 mins away from me so went here instead. The mango cake was good but there's something with the outer icing I did not like as it was SOLID, which was weird as I've left it out for hours. This is why there's one less star as well. The cake would have been perfect and I would have ignore that icing issue if there were real mango fruits on there. I did have mangos at home that I cut and placed on it, which made it so much better!

The staff were deliberately slow, talking and joking around with each other. They were busy chatting instead of helping customers… customers were waiting and they didn’t care. People who came in after me were helped first. Please retrain your staff.“

Even though it was not as moist as I was envisioning, the Brigadeiro chocolate sauce was shelf stable, pudding like, and complemented the cake quite well. I was able to munch on the cake for a few days after, reheating each slice as desired. The bakers are really nice, threw in a few samples, and were really patient as I arrived late for pickup.
