If you go to this place please check your receipts, this is the second time that they charged me more without telling me, I always pay with a debit card (is not even a fee for credit card use), the lady at the cash register is rude and her actitude just seems deceitful, she manually inputs the amount she is charging to your card, without telling you before about that aditional “fee”. Las Tarascas is known for its best menudo in town, with flavorful broth. The tamales are not small wimpy tamales; they are big and delicious. Staff behind the counter are friendly. The restaurant offers excellent tacos and flautas, plus a little market for produce and convenient items for home. Barbacoa tacos are the best ever, and the ladies cooking and serving are sweet and nice. Marinated beef fajitas for grilling are leaner and less fat, worth the higher price. The meat market is favorite; meat is worth the higher price, and the market serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, tamales, salsa. Delicious.
