“The owners are so welcoming and since our first visit they remember us everytime we come in. The food is always delicious, we have never had anything that wasn't great. Love this restaurant! A must try in Katy / Energy Corridor Korean fried chicken, garlic shrimp, marinated galbi, grilled zucchini. And the very best is the chocolate concord cake!!!“

“I love chicken! I was in the mood for something different and bb.q delivered spectacularly on taste, texture and quality. I like the heat level high, so I opted for a mix of secret sauce and hot spicy (beware the hot spicy is no joke).. I ordered for pick up so you know theres a chance sometimes something won't be as crispy by the time you get home.. Not with this chicken.. Its hard to explain but if you like an ooey gooey sweet spicy sauce and a crunch as if it were candy coated, this is the place try.“

“I tried Tasty Ko on a whim when it popped up on my search for good bibimbap. I was dining alone and received immediate service and the server was quick to attend to my needs. It is located off a main road in Katy in Cinco Ranch, Mason Road, so it is easy to get to. I live in Richmond and it is closer than all the other Korean restaurants we frequent. It is an outstanding restaurant! Clean, spacious, authentic Korean cuisine. Koreans cooking and serving, which, to me, is the way it should be to have the best Korean food dining experience. Tasty, authentic, Korean food, just as its name suggests! And while there I only saw Koreans dining there. That says something, too. I am African American and I LOVE all things Korean! Tasty Ko did not disappoint on any level. They have a very extensive menu, including Korean fried chicken, bbq, and a nice selection of Korean alcoholic beverages. I give it five stars all around! I will definitely go back with friends.“

“My husband and I had a great experience here! We ordered the jjampong, jjamyung, and spicy chicken wings, and everything was so flavorful. The jjampong had a rich, spicy broth, the jjamyung was savory and comforting, and the wings were crispy and perfectly coated in sauce. Generous portions and authentic Korean flavors — we’ll definitely be back!“

“If you're looking for authentic Korean comfort food, this place is worth a visit. The seafood pancake was good, crispy and full of flavor. The kimchi jjigae was equally satisfying, with a rich, hearty broth and the perfect balance of spice and tanginess.

The portions are generous and offer great value for the price. On top of that, the staff were friendly, attentive, and provided great customer service throughout our meal.“

My only complaint is the lady at the register always seems annoyed and has an attitude with me. “First timer. Food and service was great. There's an AYCE menu, we choose mid-tier. I think I would try the Signature ($30) tier next time. We didn't try 75% of the items in the Premium tier. Suggestion, if you will eat squid, order it first so you can eat it slowly throughout your service. Choices: K-bbq or Brazilian bbq ? Both good options.“

“We’ve enjoyed eating here occasionally, but came back after hearing they started weekday AYCE pork belly for $19.99 and were AMAZED!! This time was hands down the best Korean bbq experience! Multiple servers worked our table and were very kind, efficient, and had really great attention to detail. They brought out the special Korean sides without being asked, cooked the sides/meat with expertise, and overall made us feel very welcome! Their soju slushies were also SO good - we tried the mango and Korean raspberry flavors! We will definitely be back many times!

For an authentic Korean bbq experience, ask them to grill kimchi, green onion kimchi, and the bean sprouts to eat with your pork belly!“
