“I enjoyed a filling, tasty pork katsu bento box here on a Friday evening. For around $16, the bento box came with crispy pork katsu, curry, rice, potato salad, shrimp tempura, fried veggies, and California rolls. There was a generous amount of crunchy, breaded pork katsu, which was deliciously paired with curry and rice. The California rolls were a hit also, with plenty of imitation crab meat. The restaurant itself is located in a strip mall in Sugarland with plenty of parking, and the restaurant itself looks newly renovated. Service was prompt despite a busy evening. Overall, I would recommend this place looking for a tasty meal in the area.“
“The place was very clean and spacious. It took about 5 minutes to get our order and it was delicious. I asked for two toppings and the worker only have me 1 and gave my sister two but i am sure that was just a mistake. Sadly, there were no chairs to eat so we had to stay standing by a table when finishing out ice cream. 4 stars!“
“This restaurant is great! I love the sides they serve as well as the beef dishes. The Bulgogi and Galbi are delicious. One comment I do have is that the spice levels are not really that high so keep that in mind when ordering.Kid-friendliness: It’s a great restaurant to bring kids since the spice levels are very tolerable“
“My partner and I decided to give Two Hands Corn Dogs a try, and it was an absolute treat! The corn dogs exceeded our expectations with their delightful taste. On top of that, the staff member’s suggestion to order the ‘Kimchi Fries’ turned out to be the highlight of our meal – it was the best decision we made! The combination of friendly service and mouth-watering food makes this spot a must-visit. Highly recommended!“
“It's my 3rd time here. This time i went to celebrate my husband's birthday. I love that they use charcoal for you to cook the food. The many sides provided alone is already alot. One of the best Korean BBQ places in Houston and the price is not that bad either.“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Hongdae 33 Korean BBQ, an all-you-can-eat gem in the heart of Houston. The experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the get-go, the array of flavors and dishes on offer was impressive, providing an authentic taste of Korean cuisine. The quality of the meats was top-notch, with a wide variety to choose from, ensuring every bite was as delicious as the last. What stood out was the staff's dedication to service, ensuring our plates were never empty and our questions never unanswered. Hongdae 33 has mastered the balance between quantity and quality, making it a must-visit for any Korean BBQ aficionado or anyone looking to delve into the rich flavors of Korea. Highly recommended!“
“The Spicy Ramen had really great flavor. The pork Katsu was very tasty and went well the the ramen and curry sauce. The chicken katsu with white rice was amazing. The service was very friendly and the wait was minimal. I highly recommend this place.“
“Hidden gems at the corner and need to be shout out guys!!I have tried multiple times just to explore everything on their menu lol according to the owner, this is a big franchise in Korea and California and they're very first location in Texas.Their signature is Galbi Jim (spicy braised beef rib) and Bossam (premium boiled pork belly wraps), dumplings, noodles and other hot pots are so good.In the beginning, i thought it's expensive since the price on the menu, so I just stopped by to try cold noodle and the original Yukdaejang noodle but i ended up was surprised by the bowl is biggg and i saw the hotpot of another table is huge! So..yeah i came back with my friends and tried several things again and again lolSmall menu, consistent tastes, big portion, and great service. What else are you looking for right? LolP/s: don't forget to get coffee candies when they give you a check“
“Highly recommended place for tasty and reasonable pricing Korean food. We eat here at least once a week. The owners and staff are very nice. They knew our favorites: seafood pancake, kimchi chigae with port, dak bulgogi dolsot, and galbitang. We also love Special combos for DIY grill @ the table.“
“One of the better AYCE KBBQ spots in Houston. The dinning area is very large so we've never had trouble seating and we’ve never felt rushed like some other places. They have a button you can push and a waitress will quickly come to take your order for more meat. While there are a lot of options you can self-serve like the bulgogi and spicy pork, the better options are ordered. The beef tongue is my favorite. Beef belly, pork belly, pork cheeks, galbi and beef brisket are all good too. One lesser known option is the pineapple galbi, it's a relatively large cut of meat and the pineapple is great grilled. We like to order the pineapple separately as first dessert before the ice cream.Parking: Large lot in the shopping center. There's always enough parking.Kid-friendliness: Kids 5-10 are $17.99, which isn't bad if they are closer to 10 and eat enough.“
“Been here a handful of time but I can confidently say that if you are looking for affordable, but still delicious, AYCE KBBQ, then Garosu is the spot in Bellaire. Solid choice for a day date, at night can get a little frustrating with understaffing. They had an amazing lunch special and the service was amazing. One thing that I was surprised to see they offered a lot of banchan which I actually like to see. If you have a bigger party and a reservation, they have these room in the back for you which I really enjoyed the rooms modest decor. Otherwise the main dining hall is very spacious, and dimmed. One thing that I did find a little uncomfortable was the tables. I am a taller person at 6' 2", so I am sort of used to it but their leg room is very limited, because of the grill, and got uncomfortable pretty quickly, but sitting alone obviously has all the space for yourself.“
“So happy to have found this place via a recent recommendation who raved about their dumplings & kalguksu (Korean noodles in hot soup). My wife & I ordered the 2 hot soups & dumpling combo (which offers a $4 saving) and my son ordered the galbi (Korean BBQ shortribs). The food was on point in terms of genuine Korean food taste & the portion size was pretty decent at a reasonable price in this day & age. I also enjoyed the kimchi that was served as a side dish so much that we took the leftovers in a to-go box! I would definitely like to return to try the other menu items!“
“Danny made the whole meal worth the while. The food was good. I only wish the place was slightly brighter. Overall, it was pretty good. Danny was awesome! He was attentive and very well mannered! Service was just fantastic! From the staff from the front to the staff that cleared our dishes.“
“The soups are amazing. Very generous portions and quite reasonably priced. Very flavorful soup, absolutely perfect for a cold rainy day.We ordered:Soon Dae Kuk 순대국Pork bone broth soup with pork intestines. Garnished with chinese chives, chopped green onion, and perilla powder.Dwe Ji Kuk Bap 돼지국밥Pork bone broth soup with pork intestines, pork belly meat, and clear noodles. Garnished with chinese chives, chopped green onion, and perilla powder. Both served with SoonDae(Korean beef blood sausage), bowl of rice, and side dishes(BanChan).“
“The reviews on the kimchi is true, one of the best I’ve had from a Korean restaurant. The atmosphere clean and the service is very kind and attentive. The portions are huuge! I actually accidentally came here because I typed in the wrong directions for a different Korean restaurant but decided to take a risk since I saw that this restaurant was rated highly. Let’s just say I won’t be going to the other restaurant anymore and will be coming here for my Korean cravings from now on!!!“
“The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the meal for 2 which included chicken soup, beans, rice, salad, shrimp, pork belly, bulgogi, chicken and brisket. We also ordered the tostones (fried plaintain chips) and takoyaki (fried octopus balls served on top of imitation crab mix). My favorites were the chicken and brisket. The server cooked the food for us, but you can do it yourself if you'd prefer. The interior was beautiful, especially the bar area and the fake cherry blossom tree.“
“We came here on a random thursday night and did not have to wait! I like the concept of AYCE but I think this place is hard to get the bang for your buck because things like rice cakes, ramen, noodles, etc. make you full VERY FAST. I like that you can add a little bit of everything into your soup which can understandably get expensive when you buy all the ingredients separately at home. They also had a yummy sides bar with korean fried chicken, ggim, and some other things! They also add rice at the end to soak up all the additional yummy flavor but I was honestly too stuffed by then. I think the vibes are nice and clean, the staff is very attentive and works very quickly. Overall a good experience I'm just not sure I will be back since I can do this myself at home.“
“This Korean eatery, let me tell you, has always been our number one choice! Can you even fathom it? It's also the ultimate Korean restaurant chosen by my child! It has become an integral part of our existence. I mean, who would have predicted? The astonishing range of accompanying dishes they offer is incredibly remarkable! And the cherry on top? The cost is extremely budget-friendly! I'm at a loss for words, to be frank.“
“Today I came for the second time to have lunch at 11 a.m.. A friend and I wanted corn dogs -- I had an American Classic & Dirty Tots- We left EXTREMELY satisfied. Ordering was easy, food is cooked fresh and the staff will allow you to sample the drinks to choose your fav. We were SO satisfied that by 3p we had come back for more. Its 3:11 p.m. - Headed in for another.“
“I've been to other Gen locations and it's essentially the same experience. The service was a tad bit slow and there were hardly any customers so I feel like it could be just a bit better. With that said, the service was still great when they did get a chance to go to our table. The food is good and the quality of the meat was good as well. Not a bad experience overall!“
“Food: S (for Satisfying) Service: S (for Satisfying) Ambiance: S (for Satisfying) I tried their most spiciest chickens and it was AMAZING! I HIGHLY recommend everyone to try this place out (they have both spicy and non-spicy food, which are very delicious as well).“
“Go Hyang Jib Korean restaurant is truly a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Chinatown. It has become my go-to spot for delicious Atka mackerel grilled fish and mouthwatering sashimi on rice dishes. One of the highlights of dining here is the variety of flavorful soups, especially the seafood soup, which never fails to impress.Having been a loyal patron for the past 15 years, I can attest to the consistent quality of their food. While there may be occasional long waits during busy periods, the enduring kindness of the lady who has been a fixture there for years makes the experience worthwhile. Her dedication to providing excellent service is truly commendable.Despite the potential for longer wait times, the wait is always worth it as every visit guarantees well-marinated and fresh seafood dishes served in generous portions. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food offered. If you're seeking an authentic Korean dining experience hidden within Chinatown, I highly recommend Go Hyang Jib Korean restaurant. Just be prepared to exercise a little patience during peak hours, and you'll be rewarded with an unforgettable culinary journey.“
“Been here a handful of times, the food is always good! The prices are very affordable, specially for the quality. Here's what we ordered:Kung Pao Chicken: 8/10General Tso's Chicken: 9.5/10Fried Tofu: 10/10Beef stir fried Noodles: 8.7/10I highly recommend their Fried Tofu and General Tso's Chicken. Their fried tofu is the best. We have also tried their Salt and Pepper spare ribs and sesame Chicken previously and they're delicious! You really can't go wrong coming here. They have a wide variety of choices and was never let down every time we visited. So, don't hesitate to try this restaurant ??“
“If you have doubts, please consider what you expect from this place. I assure you, they do things to the prime status. Their wings are expensive. But... They are the highest quality in Katy. The gandum style flavor will rock your taste buds and it isn't spicy. All of their products are too notch and worth every penny in this society where quality means nothing at most places. This is the ultimate place that needs to stay here when other places fizzle out.“
“First time we ordered fromthen. We had their Spicy Chicken yangnyeom wings and spicy fries. Love love their wings. Kids liked their fries. Wings were made to perfection. Crunchy on the outside perfectly spiced and juice wings. Will definitely return. We ordered out. So I can’t review the inside. But my husband said it’s perfect to go out on a date inside and with friends.“
