“Our bartender, Josh, turned us on to the World of Beer App on our phones! The shake and share part of the app turned us on to beers that we would have NEVER thought to try before! 10/10 will be using this app every visit because of him! Great experience!“
“Looking for a place for drinks and conversation? If so, then a bar to consider is the Public House, located in Katy’s Villagio Town Center. It’s a traditional pub with drinks, televisions, games, and more. What you get with the Public House is a comfortable place for drinks and a noise level low enough that you can hear the person speaking next to you with no problem. There is a jukebox playing tunes, but they keep the volume low enough that you can talk to people with ease. They have a respectable beer selection at the Public House, and the prices are good- lower than those of most other establishments. If you would rather go for a cocktail, not a problem. The liquor selection is extensive, and they can mix up any drink you like.Besides the drinks, you will find a pool table, games, and an outdoor space for seating when the weather is right. Public House did serve food at one point, but the last time I visited, I learned that the food service had been suspended while they worked out some kinks. In the meantime, there is a vending machine in the back if you need a snack while you imbibe.Food or not, the Public House is a good place to visit for drinks and conversation. The service has always been friendly, too, and since it’s located in Villagio Town Center, there is abundant parking and more than enough places you can walk to for food, if the need arises. There is no outstanding feature at Public House, but it has all the essentials covered, which is reason enough to pay a visit.“
“In search of a late night dinner on a Friday night with a hankering for Fish & Chips, and landed on the patio. Did not disappoint and my companion raved about his Big English Burger and Onion Rings! Great casual dining under the stars - surrounded by happy diners enjoying the patio too!Parking: Ample parking surrounding the restaurant“
“I've been waiting for a long time to write this review. I wanted to visit many, many times to make sure that my review was accurate. After my market research and due diligence I can say that this place is CONSISTENTLY good. It's more of a local dive bar so don't think you'll find super fancy or super high end anything here. However, that's what makes this place "good" - the servers are, hands down, the BEST and nicest. They have pool tables, darts, and tons of pinball machines. Lots of sitting area, outside patio. Fridays and Saturday nights DJ Venom is always busting the BEST beats ever. It's never super duper crowded but the crowd... what can I say about the crowd. Besides the bartenders, the crowd here is what keeps bringing me back. You'll find old. You'll find Young. You'll find black. You'll find white. And you'll find me (a brown girl). Mostly locals and some strays. But everyone kinda does their own thing and is usually friendly. Bar food is freshly fried and always delicious (though basic). They make a mean old fashioned and the cocktails are cheap, when I say cheap I mean cheap. I love this place.“
“Had a great dinner tonight! Cade was our waiter and he was awesome! The wings were amazing. The wedge salad was one of the best we have had. The burt ends were good but not really a burnt end if you ask me. The wings definitely made up for it. I look forward to going back and trying something else on the menu.“
