Empanadas Restaurants in Katy, TX

“This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in Katy! We ordered three different juices, and I absolutely loved that they brought my kids' drinks out in plastic cups with lids and straws without us even having to ask—they truly understand families. The juices were both healthy and delicious, with no added sugar needed.The yuca empanadas were a massive hit, and even my kids devoured them. If you've never had one, they are similar to a healthier calzone or hot pocket. While we don't have gluten allergies, we do try to limit wheat/wheat flour in favor of buckwheat flour, quinoa and brown rice, so I love that their empanadas use a starchy vegetable wrap instead of wheat flour. We also ordered a bowl and some arepas, which were filling and flavorful without feeling heavy. The service was quick and attentive for scratch-made food, and the entire restaurant was clean and well kept. Can't wait to go back and try their spirulina and other healthy foods. We will definitely be back!“
