I tried the sizzling rice soup this time. It came out quickly and was nice and warm, but overall I found it a little on the bland side. The rice also wasn't quite as crispy as I expected; once added to the soup, it became more chewy than pleasantly softened. It wasn't bad by any means, and it definitely scratched the soup itch, but I’ve had better sizzling rice soups elsewhere.
The egg roll, on the other hand, was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy.

China Cottage is a restaurant that serves delicious Chinese food in a peaceful ambiance. The service is usually wonderful and attentive, making it a great spot for a nice warm meal. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including Beijing beef and different kinds of chicken, all at an affordable price. It's a popular spot for families and is also suitable for special occasions and dates. However, some visitors have experienced inconsistent food quality and poor service from time to time.
