I've been going to Tonys/Ray's for many years and absolutely love it. I recently went after have being away from the Katy area for about 10 years. It was just as I remembered. Except for one thing, the automated pay process. I'm all about technology but I absolutely hate this. I like to get my check and sit for a while, this automated process has the server hovering over you and I feel like I'm being rushed out the door. I don't like it one bit. Mexican and TexMex food is easy to find in my area of west Houston. I have my favorites, but if I want the taste of Mexico without driving far from home, a place I will frequently visit is Ray’s Mexican Restaurant on Mason Road in Katy.At Ray’s, guests will find the usual assortment of Mexican and TexMex options, most all of them accompanied by rice and refried beans. Mr. Ray, (the owner) is awesome. It feels like family every time my family and I come. Their slogan is, "See you tomorrow." The staff are all excellent. The food is absolutely delicious. Ray's is my favorite Mexican restaurant. If you love spicy food, they have a spicy green salsa that is to die for! Keep up the great work! :)
