Second time I had the Summer Special and it was delicious! Unsweet tea was really good.
Carlos waited on us both times and he's awesome. Very attentive and very nice.
Music was good not too loud so conversations can be heard.
This just might be our new 'to go' place for delicious Mexican food.“

“We celebrated our daughter’s birthday with a big party of 25 people. Yannis was the only server and he was fantastic! Very quick service, hot food, drinks stayed filled, and he was very organized! He really went above for us tonight when I asked about them doing anything for birthdays, he let me know they don’t do that anymore, but that he would love to sing for her. He gave her a huge shout out at the restaurant and had our whole section singing- and brought her a delicious tres leches slice! We will definitely be back to specifically sit in his section!“

“This place is great, my husband and I never spend more than $40 to eat here. They are known for their Puffy Tacos (corn tortilla). The plate is less than $15 for 2 tacos, beans and rice. The tacos are pretty loaded. Their cheese enchiladas are good. I will state that the enchiladas are more tex-mex (my fav), so they are really cheesy and have a chile con carne sauce. The margaritas aren't my thing, but I'm picky, so they might be yours. The staff is always kind and attentive.“

“Hands down, my favorite mexican restaurant! Only thing I don't really like is that they are always busy. That being said, I've never had bad service here, EVER. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. The decor is interesting and definitely a conversation starter. It's very laid back here. They sell shirts here too, they always have this goofy little fish on them in new and funny ways. The prices are reasonable, a family of 4 can eat, parents can have a drink, and probably get desert for around $45ish before tipping the server, who is usually always awesome.“

“You know that old saying you don’t know what you got till it’s gone? Me and my family are from Alvin, Texas, where there used to be a Casa Ole But sadly got shut down. I’m not sure why if it was because they didn’t get enough business, but we were really sad to see it go & We haven’t ate casa ole in almost a decade, so we decided to drive to the Pearland location to see if The food was the same And to check it out and turns out it was the same but better the staff we’re all super friendly. Everyone had a smile on their face and was always checking on us. The food came out quickly and hot and tasted like home. We will definitely start making it a regular trip here because we missed it & We were so happy to have a bit of nostalgia We would hate to see this place get shut down like the other location“

“A very active and busy restaurant! This place is constantly moving. The staff are amazing. Table turnaround from guest leaving to cleanup to new guest seated was amazingly quick. The wait staff are active in recommending good food if you dont know what to eat. They are regularly checking in and animated and talkative with you when checking on you. The manager makes a point to stop by every table to make sure you are enjoying the food. Manager even grabbed a broom to sweep a mess up and pulled dishes to help clean as well as helped run food out. They have a system and it works. The food is amazing. I highly recommend the Chicken Fajitas. Juicy, tender and amazing. The salsa and other fresh ingredients are fantastic as well. Just the right kick from the homemade salsa.“

“I celebrated my birthday with a family member for the first time at Red River Cantina. The food was outstanding! The service was right on. The ambiance was TexMex classic. The ladies bathroom was impeccably clean and well stocked. Our server surprised me with a beautifully and delicious complimentary Sopapillas with cream and a lit birthday candle. Red River Cantina has nothing to envy their competitors. We all know who they are. Red River is our new restaurant for delicious and reasonably priced TexMex dining! “The waiter Huber basically told us what not to order. NOTE When you come to this location bring your own silverware, we had to share a knife among 3 people. The enchiladas & steak, more like a slice of brisket drenched in a salty cheese sauce. Awful!! The beef enchilada, unflavored ground meat, again drenched in a red sauce WITH cheese. Cancun tilapia again with cheese and 8 tiny cocktail shrimp - no garlic sauce The plate was hot but not the food. At 8ish on a saturday night they only had 3 or 4 tables, no more than 12 people, including us 3 If they were starting to close for the day, they should've close the area they were cleaning. I don't appreciate smelling 'Fabuloso" while I'm eating with the mop bucket next to my table. Really your motto should be "Why are you still in business..." Marked as 1st and last on places not to visit. Overpriced for the food quality“

“We’ve been fans of all of the locations of Barcenas for years. The Marina Bay location is every bit as exceptional as the others. The food is consistently delicious, the service is outstanding. Nelly is so welcoming and makes sure every single table is happy. Manny is always just the absolute best and incredibly patient with our indecisiveness. You can’t beat the Taco Tuesday prices and they serve breakfast all day every day! A great experience every time we visit!! I’ll put some pictures in the comments.“
