We like dumpling, pulled noodle and green bean. Not much choices on protein that we like and that’s the star down. However, the mentioned food items were very well made. We kept going back for more.
Food is so good and service is always awesome. Great portion sizes for the price.
It may be an unprepossessing location but the food is incredible. These were some of the best jiaozi I've ever had in my life. We also had delicious scallion pancakes and iced green tea; waitstaff were friendly and fast, definitely going back soon!

Steam Dumpling in Stafford is a highly praised Asian restaurant known for its authentic and flavorful dishes. Customers consistently enjoy the spicy beef noodle soup, which is described as the best in the Houston area, with tender beef, just-right noodles, and deeply savory, slightly spicy broth. The soup dumplings are also a highlight, offering good texture and a soupy filling. Other popular items include pan-fried cabbage and pork dumplings, chili wontons, salt and pepper shrimp, and pulled noodles, all praised for their taste and quality. The scallion pancakes are noted for their satisfying saltiness, and the fried buns with condensed milk make a delicious dessert. The restaurant provides a clean environment with friendly, efficient staff and reasonable prices, making it a great spot for Asian cuisine. Many reviewers appreciate the authenticity and consistent quality of the food, and some mention dishes like the Chinese burger, vegetable dumplings, and sautéed green beans, which can be customized with less salt if needed. Overall, Steam Dumpling offers a variety of tasty, well-prepared dishes that keep customers coming back for more.
