“This is the best birria I have ever tasted. The tacos were scrumptious. They gave you a small bowl consume to dip the tacos, excellent! It's a little hole in the wall and no indoor dining, but that did not take away from the taste of the food. My daughter had the foil pack with jumbo shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn on the cob. Everything had a spice and flavor to it. It's a must stop in Rosenberg, TX by Houston. It's worth the trip.“

“I was impressed with the service and food. But mostly impressed by seeing the owner of the restaurant be involved. He was cleaning tables, picking up dirty plates from customers, asking how everything was going. This to me is high quality service. Many restaurants should learn from the type of customer service these folks provide.“
“For a casual restaurant, the food was great. The price was fair, in our opinion. We ordered gumbo, calamari, and the fried shrimp for the kids. None was extraordinary but I would say it is still better than alot of places, especially the seafood gumbo was a lot of goodies in it and it was a big portion. A bowl could totally fill one up“

“Happen to be in the area in Richmond and ran across this restaurant. I ordered the penne pasta with oxtail .. The best item I have ever eaten anywhere.The pasta was cooked to perfection. There was so much meat on the bones. Employee mentioned there was about a pound of meat. Gravy was in the mix along with carrots and onions bell peppers.Needless to say the order was enough for 2/3 people. Then I got a side of fried okra. Delicious and crispy.The only problem I see there is parking if it gets busy. Unless there is more in the back. When I am in the area again I will return“

We order the crawfish, Cajun rice and fried shrimp, tilapia basket with seasoned fries. The gumbo and cracklings are always a favorite, and my sons enjoyed the stuffed wings and mac/brisket balls. The brown sugar lemonade is a staple ( add bourbon ?)Just found out about this restaurant, last week, on IG. Had no idea it was so close to home. Great variations of Boudin, the cracklings will have you running back for mooorrreee (made to order) & did I mention the gumbo...oh, let mention the guuuuummmbo!! Great jewel to enjoy.“
