“Our “Sunday Adventures” brought us to Athena’s Corner.We have been searching for authentic Mediterranean food since coming back from Israel that was a closer to home and without driving into Houston. Athena’s Corner is the best by far in this search.Edit2nd visit:We really liked our first selections from the 1st visit but wanted to try other selections from the menu.For appetizers, we tried the KeftedesMeatballs, Falafels & Dolmades Ladoregano.The meatballs were interesting but smaller portions than expected. The Falafels were small, slightly over cooked (maybe we are spoiled from our Israel trips) but had a good taste.For entrees we had Large Greek Salad with Gyro & Chick Pea Salad with Gyro.For dessert we had the Ravani which was amazing!First Visit:Everything from the appetizer to dessert was excellent.We ordered the Dolmades Ladoregano and Hummus for Appetizers.For main dishes, we ordered Chickpea Salad and the Gyro Plate.For dessert, we shared a Chocolate Mousse Cake.We will definitely be back soon!“

“do not get the pizza. The crust is so hard it could possibly break your teeth used to have the best crust in town but something happened crust is too dense, not fluffy and crisp. The way it used to be.“

“We heard about this place after buying coffee from them during a farmer’s market. All seating is outside, which makes for a beautiful time outdoors. I highly recommend the smothered tots with crawfish and shrimp etouffee. Their Cafe Sua Da was so silky and delicious.“

“We are out doing some craft brewery tastings and stopped in at Backyard Brewery, nice small place with a what looks like a good regular crowd. We had the West Coast IPA, one of the best I've had in a while! Rich in color and lots of flavor. Service was great, we got a chance to taste (sample) a few before selecting the West Coast. Love supporting small businesses and this is one worth a stop.“

“Super cool place we accidentally found while looking for something else. We’ve been back several times since then. Definitely worth a visit if like wine. Great selection and helpful staff. Atmosphere is relaxing with great views outside and creative decor inside. Prices are extremely fair and you get a really good deal if you purchase wine to go. The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms. The beer is consistently great with a nice variety of flavors and styles. The food is consistently delicious. Whether it's a salad and a cream ale, a bowl of mac and cheese and a porter or a sandwich and a stout, they have what you want to eat and drink and they'll serve it with a great attitude and a smile and when it arrives it'll be hot and fresh. “Did not realize it was Mother's day weekend, so we were trying to find someplace to eat but every place was booked up. So I went onto my OpenTable app to find a place that served steak and this place did not disappoint. It has a really cute outside area if want enjoy the summer breeze. Our waitress/bartender/hostess was so nice and had us laughing the whole evening. This place is a nice place to chill with friends, family or date night. During the week they have ladies night, triva night, live music and of course steak night. The steak was so marvelous and the seasoning was perfect. The cook did something nice for us because they ran out of regular fries so she hand cut us same steak fries. And of course what meal would complete with the dessert which I selected the whiskey bread pudding. I got alittle excited so I took a few bites before I remembered to take a photo. They have a nice selection of draft beers and wine.“

“Atmosphere is great, I got a lb. of cold boiled shrimp (it's shrimp only) it had a good spice and flavor (prefer medium sized) wife got the fried fish plate. I would compare the batter and texture to Captain D's (not country style), it also had a good flavor and the fries are kind of like seasoned fries. “I was recently at the Texas City location and WOW! Jai was PHENOMENAL.She allowed my kids to taste the ice cream before we purchased it to be sure they would like it. She had great customer service, a positive attitude and a radiating smile. She even joked around with my son. The bathroom was clean,which is a plus on my book. “I've been here a couple of times now with my husband and family. We usually come here to just sit by the water, enjoy a few drinks and eat some fresh fried seafood. The fried seafood is really good. We usually order their coconut shrimp and baked potato and or fried okra. The service is nice, you can seat yourself most of the times. Don't forget to go upstairs and check out the bar and the beautiful view! If you're lucky, you'll catch some great locals showing off their talents on the mic! We LOVE this place! The Tequila Sunrise was expertly crafted - not too strong, just perfect. I did try the fried pickles, which were a tad on the salty side, but that’s a minor detail in an otherwise delightful experience. “Usually this is my favorite Greek place. Unfortunately my favorite dish, Saganaki the flaming cheese, tasted like very old oil. We also got the sampler platter and it was good for the most part, the spankapita had the same old oil taste and was inedible.“

“I remember Cabo when it was still Club Classic. Cabo has the best lakeside patio in all of Clear Lake with some of the best food. I go at least once a week for the ahi bites. They are the best. It’s slices not bites of sushi grade ahi and it’s a huge portion for the price with tangy ponzu and a peppered crust.Clearly that’s my favorite. It’s always super fresh. I also like their taco night - I do an ahi and a fried shrimp and sometimes the special of the night on Taco Tuesdays. I don’t do steak but their most popular food night is Thursday steak night with $20ish filets with sides.Vegetarian options: Ahi Bites, Fried Shrimp Basket, Fried Fish Basket, Shrimp Scampi (Steak Night), several other things, those are my faves.Lots with the shrimp or fish - I think an Ahi Sandwich too, some more shrimp things, and I want to say a Teriyaki Salmon.Parking: Lots of parking right off of NASA Rd 1“

“This place is like a hidden gem where you go at lunchtime or Happy hour there’s always a friendly bartender Waitresses and waiters there to serve you. The food is great, on weekends It gets pretty crowded and lively. They have lots of beer choices and alcohol for you to choose from. Sometimes they have karaoke they always have music and lots of sports on TV. You can also play pool and other games there they have something for everyone. It's a whole new Coffee Shop now. After Mr. Mike, the owner, reached out to me offering his apologies and an explanation, I decided to stop by and check out the new and improved. I was pretty impressed at the transformation! All the decor is beautiful and colorful. Very inviting and uplifting. I noticed the shop was very clean. Bathrooms as well. Most importantly, the staff was wonderful. Miss Grace assisted me in choosing a delicious Vietnamese Coffee. She was so nice and super helpful. This Coffee Shop has some very unique Coffee and Teas to try. I was greeted upon walking in and then wished a good evening once leaving. Very happy for these good folks. Turning this around and making it a go Local Coffee Shop. Keep up the great work.“
