Great place. Service is friendly. Sammy G himself came out and said hello. Food was great. I had the fish sandwich, which was excellent, and the wings were fantastic.
The food is pretty great! Atmosphere is awesome. Been there during the day and the evening. Haven’t experienced bad wait staff yet. Nice spot! Locally owned! The wings and Mac N Cheese are my FAVORITE!
Sammy‘s is my new favorite place! I have experienced both the in person experience and the DoorDash. Let’s start with the in person experience… You are welcomed as soon as you come in the door whether you are sitting at the bar or sitting at a table. Sammy G’s District 70 is a restaurant right on the water with a great atmosphere. The service is amazing, with Evan and Anna providing exceptional care, keeping drinks full, and checking up on guests. The food is great, with great pricing, flavors, and portion size. The wings are some of the best, perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The you hook we cook deal is so good. The menu has grown and the food is better than ever. The owner is always on-site, listening and taking feedback seriously. Happy hour is great, and the downstairs area with live music is breezy, fun, and full of talented artists. It has become a favorite local spot, with service that has been nothing short of amazing. Guests highly recommend it and look forward to coming back.
