“Our was good. I had the seafood boil combo #2 and my husband had the oysters and a chicken quesadilla. The only thing I didn’t like was my second drink. I ordered a Paloma and it wasn’t very good. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves and the live band.“

“I recently checked out Tookie's Seafood and had a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy some good seafood. I ordered the Gulf red snapper along with the fried alligator and kept it simple with a couple of bottled waters. The snapper was fresh and cooked just right flavorful, tender, and definitely the standout of the meal. The fried alligator was a fun addition too, crispy on the outside and nicely seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive, and everything came out in a reasonable time. It felt like a place that cares about both the food and the customer experience. Overall, I would recommend Tookie’s Seafood if you’re looking for fresh, well prepared seafood in a laid back setting. I would definitely come back.“

“My husband is working here in Texas and we came by 2/17/26 for supper and it was amazing. The steak was great, the brisket was way better than our bbq place back home and the ribs were great. The BBQ sauce was to die for. I had ordered the sausage but then was told it was sold out which was okay because we came around 9pm. We tried all the things that diners drive in and dives tried. Let’s just say if my husband comes back to this part of Texas we will be back ohhh and let’s not forget the armadillo eggs those things was amazing my husband have talked about how good they were all night and day. This is a must try place!!!!“

“What can I say!! This is one of the best restaurants we have eaten at in a while! It is a little hidden gem!! Everything has such great flavor !! The Gumbo is fantastic and the chicken and the pecan praline waffle is out of this world!! You definitely will not be disappointed with anything!! And to top it all off the food is Hot made to order and worth the wait!! Definitely will be going back to try some other things!! Our table also had the shrimp and grits and they were very tasty!! “Delightful New Orleans style brunch with chandeliers and choice of buffet or menu. I’ve had the buffet both times I’ve been here, nice variety of choices including crab and peel and eat shrimp. Don’t miss the banana foster French toast made on demand, or the carving table prime rib. Looks like an expensive bougie place but even the buffet is only $40 and the menu items very reasonable.

The manager, Doug, was amazing at accommodating our big group on little notice, even when we had additional people join our table. No fuss, just made sure everyone felt welcome. Our waiter Chris prepared a special treat for a birthday boy with us. And overall just made sure everybody was taken care of and had a good time.

“This place is a staple among my friends. The atmosphere is fantastic with dim lights, quiet music, and plenty of seating. The food is delicious, there’s not a thing that I’ve tried that I haven’t liked. Their wine menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. Their selection of cake is a must try. My favorite is the Boston Cream Cake. The service is wonderful, and their bar/kitchen staff are attentive and kind.“

“I'll rate it about a 3.75, I guess. Although my Bang Bang Shrimp was great my sister's said their sampler plate was somewhat less to be desired. We had to wait quite a while for our server, Amy, and they weren't extremely busy. A manager did come to check on us & went out of her way to find my sister a bottle of Coca-Cola :) Gift shop prices are outrageous, but it's a fun place with nice scenic views!“

“We're new to the neighborhood and looking for local places to eat. This was a 5 star experience. The place is shining and clean and cutely decorated! Your staff is friendly, good communicators, and contribute to a comfortable atmosphere. Menu is easy to read, choices are plentiful. We got two of the 2- meat platters for $16.99 each. Comes with 2 sides and a piece of texas toast. We tried the sliced brisket and turkey, potato salad, baked beans, and onion rings. Ate till we were stuffed and still took home a WOPPER of a takeout box. Sauces were perfection. One regular and one was sweet and tangy. Nice to have drinks with a refill station, as well as a huge cooler full of bottled and canned selections, pie, cheesecakes, cobbler, and more. I even saw a gluten free something. We will definitely be back time and time again. It was also great to walk through to the meat market next door! We have our new meat supplier!!! Such a great, although unexpected evening. A must, must try. Can't wait to go back!!“

“We live in Austin, but every time we visit Bacliff we go to Noah's ark even 3 times a day during our weekend, their breakfast is very good, but what I love the most is their seafood menu. The grill oysters are amazing, the tuna tostada, and fish plates are our favorites. Second floor I believe is the smokers area, so we always eat in the first floor, or outside it's awesome as well. The workers are very nice as well.“

We ordered drinks and at bar and then got a table outside to order food, and the waitress refused to serve us, stating TABC rules, but we weren’t ordering drinks from her, we are really good customers and tip really well. I’ve never had that happen and have always had good service there. Maybe a new inexperienced waitress, worried we weren’t going to tip her? Or maybe I didn’t know you couldn’t a have drink tab at the bar and order food at a table separately? I’ve worked, waitressed , in the food industry so this was new to me.“
