“Yamato, the celestial realm of sushi perfection in Galveston, Texas, left me utterly enchanted. A culinary voyage guided by masterful artisans who wielded their knives like samurai swords, crafting edible masterpieces that danced on my taste buds. Each morsel was a symphony of flavors, a gastronomic sonnet composed with the freshest ingredients. The ambiance, a fusion of elegance and tranquility, elevated the dining experience to an otherworldly level. Yamato isn't just a sushi haven; it's a celestial sanctuary where taste transcends boundaries. Prepare for a gastronomic odyssey that will leave you starry-eyed—undoubtedly deserving of a five-star constellation of praise.“
“I've had delivery from this restaurant about a dozen times. Today we decided to stop in for lunch. The restaurant is huge but sparsely decorated. We were the only customers as they had just opened and we were greeted immediately. We started with crab rangoons and an Alaska roll. The rangoons were so hot and crispy and delicious. The Alaska roll was made right in front of us and was excellent. We had ordered our entrees thru delivery before. Sesame chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Eating it at the restaurant was just delicious.Well definitely be dining in again.“
“I don’t understand get all the bad reviews people are posting! Went here with friends and the staff was welcoming, friendly and attentive! The prices are super reasonable and cheap too compared to where I live and you get a really big portion with it! Got lots of shrimp with my stir fried udon.“
“This was our first time going here. I was surprised to find out they had more locations around Houston. There is a lot to choose from even the drink menu is long and varied. The appetizer selection is full of great options of fried and sushi options. We decided to get the appetizer sampler that had the fried options with shrimp tempura ? crab Rangoons, fried spring rolls, and fried tofu. It came with two sauces, one sweet and one savory. Everything on the plate was delicious, especially after finding that right combination of sweet or savory. I got the lunch special sushi ? that came with three different sushi options and a soup or salad. I went with the soup, and for sushi, I got the spicy tuna roll, eel and avocado ?, and the salmon roll. Sherry Ann went with the Philly roll. It was a lot of food, maybe too much food. I enjoyed the eel and the salmon. The tuna was ok, but the others were far better. Our server Bagus was great checking on us answering all our questions and making sure we had a great experience. This was great service, great food, and the restaurant itself was nicely decorated and clean, and they even have a bar if thats your style. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'm already looking forward to coming back.“
“Second time to sky bar, both times with a party of 5 or more. The ambiance is very nice, and would make a great place for a party of two as well. This is my favorite place for sushi, both times it has been beyond expectations and delicious.“
