A little difficult/confusing to a first-timer as the entry door is on the side road, 55th, rather than the main road side of the building . I've now tried all of the barbecue joints on the island, and hands down this is the best one! Very impressed. I had the two meat dinner with the chicken and the turkey and sides of the turnip greens and red beans and rice. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, hot and very flavorful! 3-10-24 Found Leons by looking around on Google Maps and was glad to have seen it. We were greeted as we came in and had a nice recommendation from the waitress on what to order. We decided on a 2 meat plate with two sides. We saw "short ends" on the menu, and mistakenly thought it was something we used to have in North Carolina BBQ places, burnt ends. We are on vacation and wanted some Texas BBQ. Leon’s had some excellent reviews, so we headed to Galveston.
