I’m not a tamale gal, but I am a Pennie’s tamale gal! My friends suggested this place after they saw it on the Texas Bucket List show. This is a tiny little tamale hut in a house looking type structure off the Seawall in Galveston. This is a pickup place only. There is no space to dine. The entrance is literally only able to hold 6-7 people, and that would be tight. My co-worker introduced me to this little Gem and I took my fiancé here this morning he came with the attitude that brisket doesn’t belong in a Taco but after his first bite he gave them a 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend this place!

Call ahead!! Takeout only !! WORTH EVRY PENNY!! DELICIOUS BARBAQOUA not greasy, awesome tasting rice n beans delicious, waiting on tamales!! LOVED IT!! ????? Small space to order, bring patience, worth it!! Great price, very clean, and welcoming and friendly staff!!OMG TAMALES ARE DELICIOUS Recommend ?????!! SLICED BRISKET IS EXCELLENT, tender with bark, perfect!!! LOVED THEM!!
