Family gathering type home style food. Anytime I’m on the island, this is undoubtedly one of my stops. Get the smothered pork chops, the ox tail if they’ve got it. The mac and cheese and the cabbage ?????? place is a hidden gem.
I always support and frequent this establishment for years and years. Good always good and plentiful. I’m headed there today for my usual one friend one smothered chop with my greens and peas.

It was meant to be we were trying to go to a different one originally and they were closed and we wanted soul food. So I googled again and found this place. And I am so glad we did. My husband got the oxtails. I got the fish it was delicious the fish was fresh. It was juicy. I wish they had fried okra, but the mac & cheese was good and so are the green beans.
