The owner is the greatest and seems to know when you need a laugh or hug. Of course the food is the star of show...I only get disappointed when I can't finish it all...“
“It was meant to be we were trying to go to a different one originally and they were closed and we wanted soul food. So I googled again and found this place. And I am so glad we did. My husband got the oxtails. I got the fish it was delicious the fish was fresh. It was juicy. I wish they had fried okra, but the mac & cheese was good and so are the green beans. I almost forgot the little cornbread was delicious. We got ours to go. But even the atmosphere inside was nice. Definitely not trying to make this a race thing but I’ve been to soul food places and they look at me differently because I’m white and my husbands black but everybody in here was super nice and we didn’t get any side eyes. So if you wanna be treated like a human and get some damn good food, this is where you need to go 10/10 recommend.“
“Coming out of the theater last night Laura and I decided to eat at Jimmy’s on the pier. We were a little concerned that the wind would make it too cool, but they close off the windows to not lose any of our contact with the Golf while maintaining a sense of warmth out of the wind. Alex was our server and he was a sensational person. Our food was amazing, Laura loved the margarita and overall it was a fantastic experience.“
