“I don't typically review bars but this was a cool little spot for a late night game of pool and drinks.We got 2 great drinks for 11 dollars... that's incredible. I had the Mexican candy drink which was amazing. The bartenders name escapes me but she was cool and friendly. Love that it feels so homey and comfy with the little lounge area that I understand is a new edition.I would definitely return if i was in the area again!.“
“A great little biker bar type bar to get a couple drinks on the water (basically anyways, the road is between the place and the beach). The bartender gave great service and helped us out with suggesting we go eat at Nicks and it was great! Thanks!“

“This was a great place my granddaughter and I were on a little excursion, we decided to ride to Galveston for the day and we went to a couple bars and this place was just a small little bar and the atmosphere was very good the bartender was extremely nice and the people that were in there were great to it was early do it wasn’t very crowded but it was perfect. We r grieving over some passing of close family members so we just wanted to sit and enjoy ourselves and that we did. We even left and came right back to it because we had a little car problem so we needed to sit awhile in a cool place to get our heads together to get home and we went back and played some music and just sat and enjoyed. So I highly recommend this place it was very peaceful and welcoming and very homely.“
“Food was just okay, we took a kid in there but I would not necessarily say it’s kid friendly; no special menu options for them. Waiting staff was very nice.Parking: Free parking couple blocks away on street, decent sidewalks for walking to location without issue.“
“So I'm on vacation in Galveston Texas and I was trying to see where the locals like to go and we came across this bar corner pocket Bar it was amazing ...Joe red was the bartender and he was friendly cool sassy and energetic and happy go lucky....The drinks were tasty made with love and reasonable pricing....they also have pool table where you can play against friends or whomever...I love the atmosphere it was chill and met some incredible people that night......The music was fantastic they played a variety mix... I recommend if your traveling to Texas like I did and want to have a good time to go to the Corner pocket Bar ..Thanks for the hospitality and the incredible time Joe Red.....“
“We were a bit confused as the sign outside says Beerfoot Brewery. This is definitely not a brewery, but an awesome bar. A large blackboard lists the craft beers on tap, and there are many. They are divided by type and the brewery location of each beer is noted. There is also a full bar available. We order two IPAs after a small sample of two recommended by the bartender. Both were from in state breweries, icy cold and served in chilled glasses. The inside vibe is beachfront casual. The interior was bright and well lighted and very clean. I would definitely give our experience five stars; only subtracted one as it's not a brewery as the sign says.“
“When I went to Texas A&M Galveston we’d go here for their Bigass beer special! It was called another name back then but the inside hasn’t changed much at all in 20 years! Just as I remembered it. The beer was just as cold too. The snacks were good typical bar snacks.“
“We came in as a party of four at 8:30 PM on a Thursday evening. They have a bunch of Galveston Marti Gras posters all over their walls-it was one of the first things we noticed coming in. We are not from Galveston ourselves, but we enjoyed looking at it while we were here. I ordered a Don Quixote Ranch water with half Sotol, half ghost tequila-this came with a nice kick but wasn't too spicy. They have hidden treasures behind their bar-I saw a stuffed cheetah and a rubber marti gras duck while examining their tequilas! We decided to do a pour of Don Julio Primavera as well. While it was pricey, it was worth the cost! We appreciated that they provided a lot of different types of tequila with a wide range of flavors. This is a very cool spot.“
“My wife and I just happened upon this restaurant while walking on the strand, and we were pleasantly surprised by how absolutely delicious the burgers were! They were truly some of the best burgers we’ve had, and they were seasoned extremely well (look at the picture). If you’re in Galveston, definitely make this one of your stops!“
“This place is a great low key spot to go drive some golf balls and enjoy a cigar. Or you can just hang out in the lounge area. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are fair priced. Bring your own clubs or use theirs either it's a relaxing place to hit some golf balls.“
“Ah yes, the elusive Dive Bar experience lives on at Patrick's Bar. Cheap drinks in an unpretentious setting with outstanding service where everyone knows your name! If it's date night, there are many other options. If you just want to relax, watch some sports or chat over some cold ones then welcome home. Drink specials daily plus the usual suspects on sale during happy hours. Couple touch screen games at the bar and a basketball game on the wall. I didn't see any food which would be my only request. OTW this is the perfect place to meet up before you charge the town or return to when you wanna wind down.“
“This place is incredible!!! I had the shrimp and pork egg rolls and they had the best flavor!!! I also had the Grilled Beef Rice bowl. Their sauce with a bit of habenero is fabulous! Great Grilled Beef! And he shared some of the coffee he makes! Omg! This man's talent doesn't end! Come see Spike!!!“
