We don't see Gloria often. always a 5* when we can, service, cold beer, comfortable, great music, great fiends, nest n prob only bTejano Old School music in the place. luv y'all!
Love it! it's a local bar so everyone knows each other but we were made to feel welcome. We were sent a drink and Ms. Laura (a regular at the bar) came over and introduced herself. She made sure we felt at home and gave us a hug. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Galveston!

Gloria (the owner) is the best and very friendly to new or regular customers. She has been in business for 50 plus years and most of her business is locals but when new customers come in they are made to feel like a local. She has had a hard time finding any new bartenders who want to work but the place has a good atmosphere and one side is smoking while the other is non-smoking. Some of the best pool players on the island meet there regularly for a friendly game. Highly recommended.
