“Louisiana Fried Chicken & Seafood has the best tasting halal fried chicken and seafood in town. Baig Mohammed always helps us with our huge catering orders especially during Ramadan. He’s our go-to person when ordering iftar dinner for the masjid that we go to. He knows exactly how much we should order for that night and what everyone prefers in regards to the type of items we should order. We had ample amount of food to give to the members of masjid that came to break their fast last night. I don’t have that many pics but I did capture one pic with my niece’s toddler son holding a piece of a drumstick and enjoying every bite of it. He wasn’t letting go of it either. Thank you so much for always helping us with our catering needs every year. In Sha Allah, we will do it again next Ramadan. Btw, their fried fish and the shrimp & chicken jambalaya are really good too. Forgot that we always get it from the Richmond location on FM 1464.”

“this review is for the new Rexburg location in Mother hibbards have stopped in there four times within the last week to try the food and they never have anything in the warmer. no pizzas nothing. I went in there tonight. no food in the warmer. the kids that work there are sitting on the floor up against the wall doing absolutely nothing. Do they only serve Pizza at lunch and zero food for dinner? there's nothing anywhere that says what times they have food what time? they don't have food so tonight I went from hangar 54 right over to Valley wide and got me a personal pizza and now I'm headed to work.”

“Had the pleasure of going there with my son and Linda and Lisa were soooo nice. They let us try the custard Ice cream Mango, Strawberry and Rasberry Pistachio were to die for!! Great service!! Highly recommended!! I’m from FL and 2 hours away from were we were staying and it was worth the drive and Lisa even gave me ideas to visit in Gavelston while we visited Texas. Will return soon. “Hidden gem!! We dined-in during our trip over Memorial Day 2021 and we were surprised with how delicious the food was. The salsa that came with the chips & salsa was super flavorful but not overly spicy. Their crab balls are Amazeballs!! You HAVE to order them! So yummy! Best I’ve had anywhere. The Cajun seafood pasta is delicious and is served in a massive portion that can easily be split between 2 people. Generous serving with lots of shrimp, sausage, and chicken. The fried pickles were fantastic. Sharp dills, great thickness, light batter. I ordered a side of red beans & rice as my main dish and it has a great texture and a hint of tart vinegar...would be best paired with cornbread or the amazing crab balls. I had a regular margarita on the rocks. It was ok. It was the most mediocre thing we ordered...so you KNOW the food is good. The music is great. We were here on Saturday from 8:30-10pm and the playlist was a great mix of Motown jams. 10/10 would recommend The Fish Place. We Absolutely recommend dining at this hidden gem!”

“Not sure why the reviews are so off.
Here's what is important. The staff are often busy and respond quickly but politely so to some their shortness comes off as rude but they are actually being very polite and were absolutely lovely.

The tables did have plates on them but were quickly cleaned. They clean after a certain number or minutes rather than focusing on cleaning the tables every time they are finished.
Personally I did not mind this as everything we ate off and had our stuff on was polished to perfection.

Finally the most important part... the food.
The food was divine. Beef Lo mein came out saucy, flavorful and tender with that little bit of chew from the noodles.
Sweet and Sour chicken was perfectly crisp outside and tender inside. The sauce? Some of the best sweet n sour I've had, very aromatic and honestly unique in all the best ways.
The dumplings? Crisp and soft all at the same time. The insides juicy as they were intended and served with an absolutely delicious sauce.
Finally the eggroll, crispy, chewy and again... flavorful!

I had missed my childhood favorite chinese place for so long and this place reminded me of that but better so if you need a good place? Go here, it seems like a hole in the wall from first glance but it is truly a diamond in the rough.”
